[ENG/ESP] Makeup Inspired in Kaecilius. / Maquillaje Inspirado en Kaecilius.

I have a certain fascination for the villains of the movies and it must be because they give them a greater force to the character to awaken in the viewers the feeling of rejection or repulsion and this is achieved through magnificent and extravagant makeup. However, this villain, Kaecilius from the first Doctor Strange movie, has a shadowy makeup that has a unique and very appealing glow. I chose to recreate it for this entry, although it's difficult to capture the glows I placed through the camera lens. Even so, I really liked the result, although I always think that everything can be improved. I leave you the detail of the execution of the makeup.

Tengo cierta fascinación por los villanos de las películas y ha de ser porque les imprimen una mayor fuerza al personaje para despertar en los espectadores la sensación de rechazo o repulsión y esto lo logran a través de magníficos y extravagantes maquillajes. Sin embargo, este villano, Kaecilius de la primera película de Doctor Strange, tiene un maquillaje tenebroso que no por eso dejar de tener un brillo único y muy atrayente. Elegí recrearlo para esta entrada, aunque es difícil captar los brillos que coloqué a través del lente de la cámara. Aun así, me gustó mucho el resultado, aunque siempre pienso que todo se puede mejorar. Les dejo el detalle de la ejecución del maquillaje.

I combed the eyebrows upwards and glued them with school glue and after they were dry, I applied foundation all over the face and with a black eyeliner pencil I outlined the contour of the eyes.

Peine la cejas hacia arriba y las pegué con pegamento escolar y luego que estuvieron secas, apliqué base para maquillaje en todo el rostro y con un lápiz delineador negro demarqué el contorno de los ojos.

I shaded under the black and light brown contour line on the cheeks drawing an inverted triangle. Next was to apply matte black body paint around the eyes, following the contour line previously done.

Realicé un sombreado debajo de la línea de contorno negra y café claro sobre las mejillas dibujando un triángulo invertido. Lo siguiente fue aplicar pintura corporal negro mate alrededor de los ojos, siguiendo la línea de contorno previamente realizada.

I applied a thick layer of gray body paint around the black ovals and once dry, I used a thin brush and black body paint to make thin lines shading the gray part and then made small horizontal lines to give texture. I also applied red shadow with glitter on the black ovals.

Apliqué una gruesa capa de pintura corporal gris alrededor de los óvalos negros y una vez seco, utilicé un pincel delgado y pintura corporal negra para.realizar líneas delgadas sombre la parte gris y luego realicé pequeñas líneas horizontales para dar textura. También apliqué sombra roja con glitter en los óvalos negros.

I applied edge lines shading some skin resources to give even more relief.

Apliqué líneas de bordes sombre algunos recursos de la piel para dar aún más relieve.

To finish I made the symbol on the forehead of the original character and made up the lips giving just a little cherry red color in the center of the lips. I hope you like it. I'll say goodbye until the next post. Greetings.
