[ENG/ESP] Bunny made from a t-shirt sleeve. / Conejita realizada con una manga de camiseta.

You don't have to sew too much, if you don't know how to sew or you don't like to make very long seams, since it is a long sleeve t-shirt and almost all the sewing work is done.

No hay que coser demasiado, si es que no sabes o no te gusta hacer costuras muy largas ya que por ser una manga larga de camiseta casi todo el trabajo de costura está realizado.

We cut the sleeve of the t-shirt taking advantage of the whole length and once this part is separated, we section the piece in 3 parts. Two thirds will be for the body and one third for the ears. Turn the sleeve over so that the sleeve seam is on the inside. We sew the bottom part with a seam that allows us to gather. We pull the thread and adjust it very well by turning with the rest of the thread and secure the seam with a tight knot. Turn the sleeve over and we are ready to stuff the body.

Cortamos la manga de la camiseta aprovechando todo el largo y una vez separada esta parte, seccionamos la pieza en 3 partes. Dos tercios serán para el cuerpo y un tercio para las orejas. Damos vuelta a la manga para que la costura de esta quede del lado interior. Cosemos la parte de abajo con una costura que nos permite fruncir. Tiramos del hilo y ajustamos muy bien dando vuelta con el resto del hilo y asegurarnos la costura con un nudo apretado. Damos la vuelta a la manga y estamos listos para rellenar el cuerpo.

Once we have filled enough so that it is plump but not tight, we help ourselves with a hair tie and close the other end. Remember to leave about a third of the fabric unfilled so that we can make the ears. Stitch a few stitches a little above the middle of the part we have filled and thus we will obtain the head and the body.

Una vez que hemos rellenado lo suficiente para que quede gordita pero no apretada, nos ayudamos con una liga para el cabello y cerramos el otro extremo. Recordemos dejar un tercio aproximadamente sin rellenar para poder hacer las orejas. Damos unas puntadas un poco más arriba de la mitad de la parte que hemos rellenado y así obtendremos la cabeza y el cuerpo.

Fold the part of fabric left to make the ears and mark the shape of the ears with a pencil. We cut keeping the fabric folded and we will have the two ears of the same size and in the same cut. With a soft colored thread we close the edge and with a pink one we make a few stitches separated in the inner part approximately half a centimeter from the edge. I inserted a pipe cleaner stick to give structure to the ears.

Doblamos la parte de tela que nos quedó para hacer las orejas y con un lápiz marcamos la forma de las orejas. Recortamos manteniendo la tela doblada y nos quedarán las dos orejas del mismo tamaño y en un mismo corte. Con un hilo de color blando cerramos el borde y con uno rosado realizamos unas puntadas separadas en la parte interna aproximadamente a medio centímetro del borde. Introduje un palito limpia pipas para dar estructura a las orejas.

With a pair of medium-sized ovals and a pair a little larger, I made the front and back legs. On the back legs I made some details with fuchsia thread and a couple of hearts made of kitchen towel.

Con un par de óvalos medianos y un par un poco más grandes realicé las patas delanteras y traseras. En las patas traseras realicé unos detalles con hilo fucsia y un par de corazón de trapillo de cocina.

For the snout I made a more elongated oval. After sewing and stuffing, I stitched a few stitches in the center and glued a small triangle made with kitchen towel. This reinforced the shape of the muzzle. Three brown threads on each cheek represent the whiskers.

Para el hocico realicé un óvalo más alargado. Después de coser y rellenar, realicé unas puntadas al centro y pegué un pequeño triángulo hecho con trapo de cocina. Éste le reforzó la forma del hocico. Tres hilos color café en cada mejilla, representan los bigotes.

The respective bow could not be missing between the ears of the bunny. It is a nice detail but it also helped me to hide the knot of the union to tie the ears. I made the eyes with cold porcelain. I had to make them twice because although I had made them in advance, when it was time to glue them I only found one. I think I will have to dedicate an afternoon to make only eyes for future projects.

El respectivo moño no podía faltar entre las orejas de la conejita. Es un lindo detalle pero además me ayudó a disimular el nudo de la unión para el amarre de las orejas. Los ojos los realicé con porcelana fría. Tuve que realizarlos dos veces porque aunque los había hecho con anticipación, a la hora de pegarlos solo encontré uno. Creo que tendré que dedicarme una tarde a hacer solo ojitos para futuros proyectos.
