[ENG/ESP]Crocheted Christmas spheres./Esferas navideñas tejidas a crochet.

I'm already in Christmas mode, and I have lots of ideas to make, but I came across a tutorial of crocheted Christmas spheres and I found them so cute that it was almost irresistible to take needle in hand and start practicing the procedure, which by the way I found very easy, it advances quickly so it is ideal for people like me who like to see the progress quickly and spend little material, so if you have some leftover yarn or wool, this project is for you.

Ya entré en modo navideño, y tengo muchísimas ideas para realizar, pero me topé con un tutorial de esferas navideñas hechas a crochet y me parecieron tan lindas que fue casi irresistible tomar aguja en mano y empezar a practicar el procedimiento, que por cierto me pareció que es muy fácil, se avanza rápidamente por lo que es ideal para personas como yo que les gusta ver los avances rápido y se gasta poco material, así que tienes algunos sobrantes de hilos o lanas, este proyecto es para ti.

Let's go straight to the step by step, but first I announce you that the whole sphere is worked in high stitches and we start with ten high stitches on a magic ring which we close and cut the excess, giving rise to a disk of about 3 centimeters approximately. In this first sphere I used cotton yarn and started with the color red, but we already know that depending on the thickness of the yarn or wool we use, will be the size of the finished sphere.

Vamos directo al paso a paso, pero antes te anuncio que toda la esfera se trabaja en puntos altos y comenzamos con diez puntos altos sobre un anillo mágico el cual cerramos y cortamos el excedente, dando origen a un disco de unos 3 centímetros aproximadamente. En esta primera esfera utilicé hilo de algodón y empecé con el color rojo, pero ya sabemos que dependiendo del grosor del hilo o lana que utilicemos, será el tamaño de la esfera terminada.

In the second round we change to green yarn and we start with three chain stitches which is counted as the first high stitch, plus 1 high stitch, that is, in the middle of each high stitch of the base circle, we make 2 high stitches and this second round consists of 20 high stitches. We close the second round and cut the excess yarn.

En la segunda vuelta cambiamos al hilo verde y comenzamos con tres puntos cadenas que se cuenta como el primer punto alto, más 1 punto alto, es decir, en medio de cada punto alto del circulo base, realizamos 2 puntos altos y esta segunda vuelta consta de 20 puntos altos. Cerramos la segunda vuelta y cortamos el excedente de hilo.

The third row is made with white yarn and now we increase to 3 high stitches per space and in total we will have 30 stitches in the row. The fourth row is exactly the same as the previous one, but we change to another color to make the contrast, here we will be gaining height.

La tercera vuelta la realizamos con hilo blanco y ahora aumentamos a 3 puntos altos por espacio y en total tendremos 30 puntos en la vuelta. La cuarta vuelta es exactamente igual a la anterior, pero cambiamos a otro color para hacer el contraste, aquí estaremos ganando altura.

The last row is just a single crochet, nothing more until we complete the row. This will be only one of the parts of the sphere, we make another piece exactly the same and join both pieces with a simple stitch using thread of the same color with which we made the low stitches, we leave a small opening to fill and close.

La última vuelta son puntos bajos, nada más hasta completar la vuelta. Esta será solo una de las partes de las esfera, realizamos otra pieza exactamente igual y unimos ambas piezas con una costura simple usando hilo del mismo color con el hicimos los puntos bajos, dejamos una pequeña abertura para rellenar y cerramos.
