I didn't think I'd have to split this mission in two posts but here we go, as the post was becoming too big. And here the mission was becoming more difficult in each stage I was going up. There were snake bites, there were suffocation and did I mention a real crocodile?
After climbing the ladder, I reached this part where I could open a valve that didn't do anything. Then I noticed this lock on the big pipe that I shot one and there came a thrust of water that opened a heavy door for me.
After getting in this room, it became complicated as there were not one but multiple valves and I'd have to keep some close while opening some and I had to look for that myself.
Following a cult note and the hint of the in-game, I did it right and the place started flooding so I didn't wait to escape the room but the thrust of the water caught me eventually.
When I was trying to escape the rising water through swimming and diving, I reached somewhere and found a locked door. There was a similar pipe where I shot on a valve or something, that opened the pipe and the water thrust opened the locked door, and I climbed a ladder from the pit to get to another stage.
Selene has been warning me about crocodiles all this time as there was water but now she changer her tone saying snake instead of crocodile and I found a real rattle snake on my way that I shot down.
Then I was walking ahead and reached this room with red lights. I found a cult note there that talks about Joseph appearing and saving them when they were dying in the broken shell.
Suddenly a snake attacked me when I was climbing down some stairs. I shot it down and there was another snake which was the last one that I shot down.
And at last I found a real crocodile waiting to tear me apart. Luckily, there were some crates so I climbed on one and I started shooting it. I didn't think it'd die this fast.
Now I had to raise the water level so I started swimming around again and I found a big valve of a big pipe that I opened up.
Now after opening this big valve, the water started rising fast and it became a situation of death and life again for my character so I didn't wait any longer, I started swimming then diving as fast as I could.
Now the water level was enough to get me out of the shithole. Selene didn't forget to ask me to grab her field kit while going up and I did grab it.
I had to talk to her to finish the mission and she was freaking glad to have her kit back. She said she'd set up her lab in Prosperity to help us boosting immune system.
