The chapel of relics was the heart of the museum, and as I stepped inside, I was awed by its ethereal beauty. The glass windows let enough light for some pieces to glow and cast dancing shadows on the walls. Every relic was in neat rows, and I could hear my footsteps echoing softly on the stone floor. I took a seat in one of the pews and closed my eyes, allowing myself to indulge in the serenity of the chapel.
In the large hall there was a large bar covered with white wood, with golden elements, including a large golden pourer. In addition to a variety of Greek food, you can buy cool drinks here with names referring to Greek islands. For example, drink Santorini, Crete, Ithaca, or the name referring to the well-known beach with pink sand, about which I wrote a post on the blog some time ago - Elafonisi. Creatively 😊
To get there we had to walk for about 10 minutes through roads surrounded by vegetation and other buildings that although beautiful, were not so visually interesting to me. Along the way we met many friends who were already scattered around the place, taking their pictures. I was looking for my buildings. Those that I had seen so many times in pictures or on TV, but that the previous time I was able to visit ISA I did not have the opportunity to see with my own eyes.
