Hi my fellow Architecture lovers,

Greetings from Sri Lanka. What's up? I really believe you are enjoying weekend very nicely with beloved once. This morning, I had to go to Yalegama village after Induruwa, which is a tourist attraction in Sri Lanka, to meet a friend. While traveling through Induwa area, we saw several tourist resorts with attractive architectural features. If you are coming to Induwa city, you can take the railway line and the Galle-Colombo main road. Since the Indian Ocean is located around Sri Lanka, it is also possible to see the sea from Induruwa. Hotels, restaurants and resorts have been built with various architectural elements in Induruwa, which is popular among foreign tourists on the southern coast. Tourist resorts that are still under construction can also be seen, but this content shows the resorts that were running business activities after the construction was completed.

The first thing that caught my attention was a tourist resort with a beautiful architectural shape. There is a kind of stone in the shape of a small brick on the wall. A strange attraction could be seen in the covered glass windows. The front cover of the ground floor was created by a wooden roof. The garden of this tourist resort has spread various types of trees and plants and added an environmental factor.

An impressive wall has been built around the resort building using beautiful granite blocks. Orchid plants are planted outside the wall near the road. It is an environment-friendly activity. At first glance, this resort adds a mind-blowing look, and various architectural tricks have been used.

I got to see another lodge with a wall that used the same small stone chip design that was used on the wall of the originally explored resort. The yellow and almost orange color coating around the small stones design adds more shine. Among them, space windows made by adding steel rods can also be seen. Inside the lodge, there are drawings related to the natural environment on the wall. Two sculptures of two lions were placed on either side of the entrance. Ornamental plants inside and outside the garden also increase the attractiveness of the visitors.

After that, a luxury modern residence called The Palace by Ocean caught my eye. At first glance, it is clear that it is a luxury resort. The architectural elements used to build it are unique. Before entering, several long pots of gray color are connected to each other using ropes. Electric lamps were installed on the wall created in a special shape. The lamps have an attractive shape. The small roof with vaults on the wall is a little similar to the Roman architectural element.

Ornamental plants have been planted inside the garden as well as in front of the tourist resort, adding a green glow as well as a beautiful decoration. The shape of the windows inside is also interesting.

You can clearly see one particular thing here. We can see that more opportunities have been given to environmental beauty in the tourist resorts of Induwa city. This is done in the hope of increasing the attraction of tourists. Also, the contribution made by the owners of these tourist resorts is very important to give more value to the environment.

AIDA beach hotel is a hotel built with several architectural elements in Induruwa area. But it is not big in size. It is not difficult to reach because it is located near the Galle-Colombo main road. Here too, ornamental plants were spread outside the wall built around it.

Air-conditioned room facilities were displayed here. A boat moving in the sea is also displayed in front to create attraction. The owners of various tourist resorts use various tactics to attract tourists. Among them, the attractive architectural elements and environmental decoration work stand out.

The roof of this tourist lodge is covered with sheets and underneath the roof is laid in a shape of steel sheets. Although the doors are not impressive looking, the balcony areas have a graceful shape. The light is diffused by hanging white light bulbs from the ceiling.

It is not just a tourist lodge. A place to display and sell gems and jewellery. It was located in a separate building but belonged to the same owner. Its floor is covered with tiles. The interior of this small glass-encased building exudes charm from the outside.

The pink color gives this resort a more interesting appeal. Black and white shapes add sparkle to the niche. Ornamental trees are planted in the garden to show environmental orientation.

The next niche was covered by a wall made of stone fragments and clay bricks. According to my experience, it is made using modern construction techniques. According to the appearance of the rooms to be accommodated, it appears that the doors are also designed to suit the present.

Next, my attention was drawn to the Janu fresh seafood restaurant full of windows designed in the shape of an aech, which serves Western style and Sri Lankan style food. It really had the attractive architecture of the windows.

Nowadays, using wooden gates for some tourist resorts seems to be an environmentally friendly concept. I took the opportunity to discover it through my explorations. It is more attractive to use the shape of the windows in proportion to the same color of wood.

I came across Whispering Palms, another charming resort in Induwa town with bars and restaurants offering deluxe rooms. Two signs of two palm trees, a palm tree, can be seen on the name board here.

Although I could not see the distinctive architectural features of these multi-storey buildings, I could see a style unique to Sri Lanka. Fertile banana trees were planted to demonstrate effectiveness. Old clay bricks were added to the attractiveness of the wall.

Further exploring it, the entry gate attracted my mind. You already know that modern concrete paving pieces are installed in front of the entry point, which makes it easier to walk through. Induwa Beach can be accessed from this tourist lodge.

Over the past few days, I have worked hard to present the architectural elements mentioned in the traditional Sri Lankan Buddhist genealogy. So you may remember that I have presented detailed information about several temples with various architectural features. I will come back with another various architecture features.
