I love cryptocurrencies. I think they are the future, if not the present already. I mentioned in a past post the political implications that could have the use of virtual money in democratic systems >How can cryptocurrency contribute to democracy . Now I will make a quick analysis of Steemit's problem from several sides:

  1. Content. What is spoken of in Steemit? Here lies the main problem detected in the platform, and it is that Steemit is all about itself, seems like a selfish, narcissistic and spoiled child. Cryptocurrency, Facebook, Reddit, Bitcoin, are some topics that represent a small percentage on the platform and it's only about their relationship with, guess, Steemit. What I have read the most are articles on how to improve in Steemit, how to make money, how to manage bots, how to write about Steemit things, what to observe, what not to observe. I know there are plenty of individuals who write about their journeys, places they visit, and all that crap I dont really give a fuck about, but its ok, its not for me, ITS FOR READERS.
Something common on my writings is my obsession with limitations, how far can it go?
I came to Steemit with my own material, writings and articles that I had done just for the pleasure of doing it, in fact, I never planned to publish it until now. I saw here the opportunity to expose, but little time passed to realize that if I was to be recognized in Steemit I had to "adapt" to its modus operandi, which means I had to relate everything to that vain child. Which brings me to the second aspect of Steemits problem.

  2. There are only writers in Steemit, we are not spectators. It seems that everyone who joins Steemit does it with the aim of profiting, and it seems to me that it is this particularity that causes the dominance of the thematic lists in the first point. There are no spectators, almost no one reads for the pleasure of reading an article, and if he does, he has the worm impulse of wanting to appropriate that material and use it in his favor (rewards to claim prizes, comment to be seen by large accounts or make a related publication where you can include the link to an article full of bots and money from Steem). LIMITATIONS. Where is the freedom to write what you want?

"you can write whatever you want but you only have the recognition that Steemit community gives you"
-And what the fuck does the Steemit community want?
"money"
-I have no money.
"then tell them how to make money, they'll pay you for that"
-I do not know how to make shitmoney on Steemit.
"jeez you dont have to know, moron. You only have to LOOK like you KNOW"

  1. Steemit should be the Silkroad of social networks. No, I do not mean that we should all start selling drugs, weapons and women. What I mean is, let's talk about drugs, let's talk about women and weapons, and let's do it in the most brutal possible way. My vision of Steemit was a platform for social relationships where people would talk freely about all kinds of things, I expected articles like "I do not like those damn immigrants in my country, I do not like them, I understand if they need help, I agree to support them, but I do not want them in my country "or "I dont understand the war against drugs, it is a war where only people inbetween die, instead of the war participants (DEA and drugs itself)" and thousands of other interesting topics that are treated in the mainstream (TV, newspapper, etc.) in such a boring, recurring and immature way. And, in addition, you could see all these issues treated from a PERSONAL point of view, and not PROFESSIONAL, the articles are not supported by gigantic companies (at least there are not many) nor by creators of opinions, they are created by ordinary people, perfectly capable of writing an attractive and enriching article about his individual point of view of an issue, and people could hate him and / or love him, but it was him, just as my writings represent me. The contrast is between PERSONAL content and PROMOTED content.

This topic is SO BIG I am having trouble to explain it concisely. Maybe it is just a dream, I just hope im not the only dreamer. I dream with Steemit and I dream with the revolution cryptocurrencys will boost.

I will comeback with this same topic in a more detailed way...
