How do I understand this? In your career, when you're talking about people that are broke, talk about income. When you're talking to people that are broke, talk about the income, how they could make money, because that is the only thing in their mind.
If you're talking about middle class, talk about security. Then if you're communicating with the wealthy. Talk about that leverage. You have that leverage over you. Talk about them, how you can connect, how you can be your best, and how you can make things work out for yourself.
It doesn't matter what will happen, but how you can make things out of what you truly have.
