Cubiro es un pueblo muy tur铆stico y emblem谩tico del estado Lara. Uno de sus muchos encantos, es su clima fresco en contraste del resto del estado Lara. De peque帽a muchas veces me llevo mi mam谩, seg煤n ella me cuenta, sin embargo, no ten铆a edad como para recordarlo ahora, de aquellos viajes solo quedaban fotos, pero se perdieron. Cubiro is a very popular and emblematic town in Lara State. One of its many charms is its cool weather, which contrasts with the rest of Lara. My mom took me there several times when I was little, or so she tells me. However, I was too young to remember, and the only memories left were photos that, unfortunately, got lost. So, this felt like my first time visiting Cubiro in a way I could truly remember.
El viaje estuvo lleno de tranquilidad y una que otra conversaci贸n. Al llegar ten铆amos mucha hambre, as铆 que, nuestra primera parada fue un restaurante llamado "El saz贸n de mi negra", el ambiente estaba super chevere, ideal para conversar, nos pedimos unas cachapas con queso y cochino, estaban super ricas. El combo de dos cachapas de queso y cochino, y bebida, ten铆a un valor de 14$. Con una cachapa quedas super satisfecho.
The trip was peaceful, with a few good conversations along the way. By the time we arrived, we were starving, so our first stop was a restaurant called "El Saz贸n de mi Negra". The atmosphere was really nice, perfect for chatting. We ordered cachapas with cheese and pork, and they were absolutely delicious! The combo, which included two cachapas with cheese and pork plus a drink, was $14. Honestly, just one cachapa was more than enough to feel full.
De ah铆 emprendimos la caminata hacia las lomas de cubiro, llegando ah铆 se siente mucho m谩s la brisa, tambi茅n te encuentras con muchos vendedores. Mi hermana y yo compramos dos collares, una pulsera, y una pa帽oleta tejida, a una chica que vende bisuter铆a, su atenci贸n fue super chevere, adem谩s todos sus productos super lindos.
After eating, we started our walk towards "Las Lomas de Cubiro". Once there, the breeze was even stronger, and we came across many local vendors. My sister and I bought two necklaces, a bracelet, and a woven bandana from a girl selling handmade jewelry. Her service was excellent, and all her products were beautiful!
Encontramos un lugar tranquilo, y extendimos nuestra manta (mantel) de p铆cnic. Ah铆 solo toca relajarse, conversar y pasarla bien. La verdad fue un momento muy agradable, rodeado de muchas personas pas谩ndola bien, y ni帽os jugando y dezliandose por las lomas, tambi茅n Kyoto y max la pasaron super chevere, corriendo por ah铆, y ocasionando uno que otro incidente. Tambi茅n un se帽or nos vendi贸 dulce de leche de cabra, super rico.
We found a quiet spot and spread out our picnic blanket. It was time to relax, talk, and enjoy the moment. It was truly a pleasant experience, surrounded by people having a great time and kids sliding down the hills. Kyoto and Max also had a blast running around, causing a few little incidents here and there. A man came by selling goat鈥檚 milk caramel, which was absolutely delicious!
Antes de irnos, nos comimos unas fresas con crema, en el mismo lugar donde almorzamos. Fue un toque ideal para finalizar este viaje.
Before heading back, we stopped for some strawberries and cream at the same place where we had lunch. It was the perfect sweet touch to end our trip!
