The roadmap shows not only on which stage of the development project is but also a history, further plans and team priorities. So make sense to put some additional efforts into the roadmap analyze.
At the beginning, I have to say that roadmap I am analyzing here is taken from the actual version of ACORN Whitepaper (9.0). It is possible that before the token sale (26th of May), Whitepaper will be modified and very likely roadmap too. Updated information you can find on ACORN website: https://www.aco.ai/
ACORN concept was invented in June/August 2017. Three months later, work on the infrastructure setup begun. In October 2017 the Whitepaper was published and work on MVP development had started. Between 29.01 and 19.02 Pre-ICO was performed and main ICO stage is planned for 26th of May (it was postponed from March-April 2018).
In a first part of 2018 collected funds were allocated into the marketing campaign. In next couple months ACORN MVP will be released and in the second half of this year full version of ACORN platform supposed to be launched. In between Acorn promises to work on OAK stabilization and growth stimulation. For the end of this year insurance system for the backers will be implemented. Just in 2019 Acorn Marketplace and Acorn Local are planned to be launch.
As I wrote at the beginning this version of Whitepaper goes through some significant updates. Very likely Roadmap will be modified cause the old version predicted main ICO on March-April, so two months earlier then it will happen. As it follows the whole process described in roadmap second part “post OAK distribution” will start about two months later. All because of bitcoin and altcoins drop in the first half of 2018.
