Es sorprendente cómo los tiempos cambian, y mientras antes planificábamos con detalles nuestro cumpleaños con tiempo de anticipación, la economía y los nuevos estilos de vida nos han conllevado a celebrar ese día tan especial de una manera más serena y sencilla.

Recuerdo que cuando mis hijos estaban pequeños, yo planificaba cada cumpleaños con un año de anticipación, y yo misma diseñaba cada detalle de sus fiestas con el motivo que estaba de moda. No dejaba ni un cabo suelto, y aquellos momentos quedaban registrados en nuestras memorias.

Ayer mi princesa estuvo de cumpleaños, y me dijo: La economía no está en este momento como para hacer grandes celebraciones cuando hay tantas cosas importantes y pendientes en qué invertir.

Podría decir que es un reflejo de una madurez adquirida con el pasar del tiempo, algo que me llena de orgullo y satisfacción porque lo que manifiesta es lógico y tiene mucho soporte, pero también se trata de esa crisis que siempre va dejando un coletazo en nuestras vidas y que coincide con nuestro onomástico, y no hay formas de planificar algo mayor.

Ella decidió pasar su día de la manera más normal del mundo, y hacer en medio de la semana de trabajo, simplemente cosas que a ella le gustaran. Por ejemplo, no cocinar ese día, jajaja, creo que ése es un regalo muy original para todas nosotras, que el día del cumpleaños cocine todo el mundo menos nosotras. Por lo que salimos a desayunar/almorzar unas empanadas tamaño gigante de esas que nos dejan pensando cómo terminar de comerlas.

Por otro lado, comer lo que más le gusta, y como buena hamburguesera, todos contribuimos a que se hicieran las hamburguesas de pollo más sabrosas y que llevaran de todo.

She decided to spend her day in the most normal way in the world, and do in the middle of the work week, simply things that she liked. For example, not cooking that day, hahaha, I think that's a very original gift for all of us, that on the day of the birthday everyone cooks but us. So we went out for breakfast/lunch and had one of those giant empanadas that leave us wondering how to finish eating them.

On the other hand, eating what she likes the most, and as a good hamburger lover, we all contributed to make the tastiest chicken burgers with everything.
