One of the best ways to start each day is with a steaming cup of coffee, whether at home or in the office, which are the most common places during the week. But on Sundays, early or mid-morning, enjoying a cup of coffee embodies that moment of tranquility that a day of rest brings, and that makes it all the more delicious.
The moments we spend with coffee have become a relaxing ritual at any time of day, whether alone or with others, starting the day, mid-morning, after lunch, or at teatime… in places of enjoyment, or in sacred spaces, waiting areas, in a hospital room, or when saying goodbye to a loved one. There's no reason or specific place where a cup of coffee shouldn't be enjoyed, because it always becomes a companion in joy and strength.
Yesterday, while out shopping for groceries and supplies for my business, I came across this new coffee brand. I wasn't familiar with it, and it's the first time I've seen it on the shelves. The color of the packaging caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try. As I've always said, since the 100g and 200g sizes became available, I can try countless brands that are introduced to the market without fear of losing my money if I don't like it.
It has a slightly more bitter taste than usual, a mild aroma, and a flavor that isn't too strong. It tastes good, but I think I'd prefer to use it more with milk. I'm very selective with coffee because the first thing that draws me in is the aroma; if it's strong, I'm hooked.
For me, coffee is central to many moments; one of them is our morning training sessions, and the whole group participates in this ritual. We toast with it and even celebrate each other's progress and achievements. Sometimes we enjoy it with a meal, or simply on its own. These rainy days, coffee has been more present than ever, almost always on rainy afternoons watching the rain fall, as an Olga Tañón song goes… “watching the rain fall, alone drinking a coffee”. Who else feels that coffee is the star of many moments?

Hola a todos, muy buenos días. Espero que estén pasando un maravilloso fin de semana, y estén consintiendo mucho a los padres en su día. Una de las maneras de iniciar cada día, es con una humeante taza de café, bien sea en la casa o en la oficina, que son los sitios más comunes durante la semana, pero los domingos, temprano o a mitad de mañana, disfrutar una taza de café se resume a ese momento de tranquilidad que nos brinda el día de descanso, y eso la hace más deliciosa.
Los momentos que pasamos con un café, ya se han convertido en un ritual de relajación a cualquier hora del día, estando solos o acompañados, iniciando el día, a mitad de mañana, después del almuerzo, o en la merienda… en sitios de disfrute, o en templos sagrados, sitios de espera, en la sala de un hospital, o al despedir a un ser querido, no hay motivo ni lugar específico para que una taza de café no tenga cabida, porque siempre se convierte en un compañero de alegrías, y fortalezas.
Ayer que salí a hacer mis compras de la casa y el emprendimiento, encontré esta nueva marca de café, no la conocía, y es la primera vez que la veo en los anaqueles. Me llamó la atención el color del empaque, y me aventuré a probarla. Como siempre he dicho, desde que existen las presentaciones de 100 y 200 gr, puedo probar infinidad de marcas que van introduciendo en el mercado, sin temor a perder mi inversión, en el caso de que no sea de mi agrado.
Tiene un sabor un poco más amargo que los de costumbre, su aroma es suave, y su sabor no es tan fuerte, sabe bien pero creo que me gustaría usarlo más mezclado con leche. Yo soy muy selectiva con el café porque lo primero que me atrapa es su aroma, si es invasivo, ya me atrapó.
Para mí el café es el protagonista de muchos momentos; uno de ellos es en las mañanas de entrenamiento, y todo el grupo coincide con este ritual, brindamos con él, y hasta celebramos los avances y logros de cada una. A veces lo acompañamos con una comida, o simplemente solo. En estos días lluviosos el café ha estado más presente que nunca, casi siempre en las tardes lluviosas viendo la lluvia caer, como reza una canción de Olga Tañón… “viendo la lluvia caer, sola tomando un café”. ¿Quién más siente al café como el protagonista de muchos momentos?
