Buenos días a todos, es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad. Para mí es un placer participar en este concurso al que fui cordialmente invitada por mi amiga

MI PRIMER EMPRENDIMIENTO EN LA VIDA
Tenía 14 años, siempre me gustó dibujar y pintar y tenía a la maestra en casa, mi tía, que era una pintora increíble. Una vez la vi pintando sobre una tela de lino con pinturas acrílicas al frío y el resultado fue impresionante, era una guacamaya y los colores casi hacían que el ave saliera de la pintura. Al ver el resultado se me ocurrió pintarla en una franela, quedó muy bonita, y mi tía al verla me dijo:
MY FIRST ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN LIFE
I was 14 years old, I always liked to draw and paint and I had the teacher at home, my aunt, who was an incredible painter. Once I saw her painting on a linen canvas with cold acrylic paints and the result was impressive, it was a macaw and the colors almost made the bird come out of the painting. Seeing her result, it occurred to me to paint her on a flannel, she was very pretty, and when my aunt saw her she told me:
¿Te animas a pintar varias franelas así para venderlas? Yo me encargo de comprar todo el material.
Y así nació mi primer emprendimiento con tan sólo 14 años de edad. Nos fue muy bien y se mantuvo el negocio hasta que me fui a estudiar fuera dos años después.
Do you dare to paint several flannels like this to sell them? I am in charge of buying all the material.
And so my first business was born when I was only 14 years old. We did very well and the business was maintained until I went to study abroad two years later.
EMPRENDIMIENTOS QUE TERMINARON TAN RÁPIDO COMO COMENZARON
Cuando nos botaron de la empresa PDVSA me las ingenié para reactivar la economía en la casa. Al vender mi carro y pagar cosas pendientes, inicié varios emprendimientos que nos mantuvieron de pie hasta que tuvimos que abandonar la casa y cambiar de ciudad.
START-UPS THAT ENDED AS FAST AS THEY STARTED
When they kicked us out of the PDVSA company, I managed to reactivate the economy at home. By selling my car and paying outstanding bills, I started several ventures that kept us going until we had to leave the house and change cities.
El primero fue servicio de transcripción, impresiones y copias; yo había realizado estudios de informática por un año y los conocimientos adquiridos me sirvieron para activar ese negocio.
The first was a transcription, printing and copying service; I had studied computer science for a year and the knowledge acquired helped me to activate that business.
Otro emprendimiento simultáneo con el de transcripciones fue la venta de postres y comidas rápidas en la universidad al menos mientras me mantuve activa en clases ya que luego tuve que poner pausa ahí. También vendía almuerzos ejecutivos para la gente que aun laboraba en la empresa.
Another simultaneous undertaking with the transcription was selling desserts and fast food at the university, at least while I was active in class, since then I had to pause there. He also sold executive lunches for the people who still worked in the company.
El tercer emprendimiento fue el de Tareas Dirigidas y fue el que impulsó la idea del Taller de Orientación una vez que me mudé. Lamentablemente todos estos intentos se cayeron al tener que cambiar de residencia.
The third enterprise was Directed Tasks and it was the one that promoted the idea of the Orientation Workshop once I moved. Unfortunately, all these attempts fell through when he had to change his residence.
MI EMPRENDIMIENTO ESTRELLA
Recién mudada intenté continuar con las Tareas Dirigidas pero no conocía a casi nadie allí, por lo que puse pausa y busqué trabajo en un colegio ya que necesitaba producir de inmediato. 5 años después, al retirarme del colegio ya tenía una extensa carta de referencias y retomé las Tareas Dirigidas, la matrícula se rebosó. Cada año fui implementando cosas nuevas hasta lograr un taller de trabajo con muchas especialidades.
MY STAR ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Having just moved in I tried to continue with Directed Tasks but I didn't know almost anyone there, so I paused and looked for a job at a college as I needed to produce immediately. 5 years later, when I retired from school I already had an extensive letter of references and I resumed Directed Tasks, the enrollment was overflowing. Every year I was implementing new things until I achieved a workshop with many specialties.
La matrícula iba desde 3° nivel de preescolar hasta el nivel superior. Contaba con personal preparado que trabajaba conmigo para las especialidades que yo no manejaba como las áreas de Química, Física e Inglés. Poco a poco fui dándole al Taller de Orientación el abarque deseado y mi mayor satisfacción fue que de allí salieron muchos alumnos muy bien preparados para desenvolverse solos en su trayectoria escolar.
Enrollment ranged from the 3rd level of preschool to the higher level. I had trained personnel who worked with me for the specialties that I did not handle, such as the areas of Chemistry, Physics and English. Little by little I gave the Orientation Workshop the desired coverage and my greatest satisfaction was that many students came out of it very well prepared to manage on their own in their school career.
MUERE MI EMPRENDIMIENTO ESTRELLA
Corría el mes de febrero del 2020, recién estábamos retornando al taller de orientación después de las vacaciones de navidad que casi siempre lo hacían un poco tarde mientras los planteles se iban organizando para iniciar el nuevo lapso. Se escuchaban rumores del coronavirus en Japón, nos alarmó pero no le dimos más importancia de la debida, una alarma, más no un alerta de precaución ni todo lo que vino después.
MY STAR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DIES
It was the month of February 2020, we were just returning to the orientation workshop after the Christmas holidays, which were almost always a little late while the schools were getting organized to start the new period. Rumors of the coronavirus were heard in Japan, it alarmed us but we did not give it more importance than it should, an alarm, but not a precautionary alert or everything that came later.
Siempre me he caracterizado por ser muy creativa para idear negocios y fuentes de ingreso para dar más estabilidad al hogar, pero al inicio de todo el desastre de la pandemia no estaba aún centrada en el “qué hacer”. Me estaba viendo obligada a cerrar mi taller que ya tenía años formado y activo, y con una estabilidad económica en constante crecimiento. Cerrar era la quiebra total, no se podía desarrollar ninguna actividad en físico, el aislamiento era completo, fue bastante complicado y triste cerrar sus puertas hasta que pasara esta situación, y la situación nunca pasó, más bien creció. De esa manera moría mi emprendimiento estrella y se abría el paso para tres nuevos emprendimientos.
I have always characterized myself as being very creative in devising businesses and sources of income to give more stability to the home, but at the beginning of the whole pandemic disaster I was not yet focused on “what to do”. I was being forced to close my workshop that had already been formed and active for years, and with economic stability in constant growth. Closing was total bankruptcy, no physical activity could be carried out, the isolation was complete, it was quite complicated and sad to close its doors until this situation was over, and the situation never happened, rather it grew. In this way my star venture died and the way was opened for three new ventures.
EL PRIMER EMPRENDIMIENTO DESPUÉS DE LA PANDEMIA
Dos de mis alumnos quisieron hacer la prueba de implementar la asesoría online, ellos y sus padres en casa y yo en el taller guiándolos para realizar las actividades. Nunca había trabajado de esa manera sólo en algunos casos simples, y transcurrió el resto del año escolar y lo que fue una prueba resultó un éxito. Se logró la orientación, todos colaboraron durante las actividades diarias, pero lo más importante fue que hubo una buena conexión digital.
De esa manera el siguiente año escolar continuaba el primero de tres emprendimientos.
THE FIRST ENTREPRENEURSHIP AFTER THE PANDEMIC
Two of my students wanted to try implementing online counseling, them and their parents at home and me in the workshop guiding them to carry out the activities. I had never worked that way just on a few simple cases, and the rest of the school year went by and what was a test turned out to be a success. Orientation was achieved, everyone collaborated during daily activities, but the most important thing was that there was a good digital connection.
In this way, the following school year continued the first of three undertakings.
EL SEGUNDO EMPRENDIMIENTO DESPUÉS DE LA PANDEMIA
Durante las vacaciones de ese año escolar en pandemia, un amigo y representante de una de las niñas a quien le brindé asesoría online, me sugirió hacer un negocio entre los dos… asesoría online y trabajos digitales para alumnos del ciclo diversificado y nivel superior. Esto incluía Proyectos de Investigación, Tesis de Grado, Informes de Pasantía, y cuanto material digital se necesitara para exposiciones, trabajos, etc.
Para ese trabajo creamos una página de Instagram donde no sólo promocionamos el emprendimiento sino que daba orientación y modelos a seguir para crear sus propios trabajos digitales. De la misma manera se utilizó esa red para promocionar las clases online, para primaria. Así poco a poco se fueron reforzando ambas labores, pero al llegar las vacaciones quedaba el vacío de esos meses, se necesitaba algo para llenarlos.
De esa manera fue que nació un tercer emprendimiento, y quizás uno de los que más disfruté.
THE SECOND ENTREPRENEURSHIP AFTER THE PANDEMIC
During the vacations of that pandemic school year, a friend and representative of one of the girls to whom I provided online advice, suggested me to do a business between the two... online advice and digital jobs for students of the diversified cycle and higher level. This included Research Projects, Degree Thesis, Internship Reports, and whatever digital material was needed for exhibitions, papers, etc.
For this work we created an Instagram page where we not only promoted entrepreneurship but also gave guidance and role models to create their own digital works. In the same way, this network was used to promote online classes for primary school. Thus, little by little, both tasks were reinforced, but when the holidays arrived, the emptiness of those months remained, something was needed to fill them.
In this way, a third venture was born, and perhaps one of the ones I enjoyed the most.
EL TERCER EMPRENDIMIENTO DESPUÉS DE LA PANDEMIA, MI FAVORITO
La asesoría online y los trabajos digitales habían resultado ser un buen ingreso pero en los meses vacacionales yo quedaba en blanco, sin ingresos, por esa razón nace el mes de agosto de 2020, el tercer emprendimiento, los postres. Comencé con mi favorito, el quesillo, pero a pesar de que es un dulce delicioso no tuvo tanta demanda como esperaba, así que poco a poco fui integrando otros postres como los golfeados, las galletas, y los roles de canela. Después incursioné con los tequeños ya fritos que se vendían con sus cremas surtidas.
THE THIRD ENTREPRENEURSHIP AFTER THE PANDEMIC, MY FAVORITE
Online consulting and digital work had turned out to be a good income but in the vacation months I was blank, without income, for that reason the month of August 2020 was born, the third venture, desserts. I started with my favorite, the quesillo, but despite the fact that it is a delicious sweet, it was not as popular as I expected, so little by little I began to integrate other desserts such as golfeados, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. Later I dabbled with the already fried tequeños that were sold with their assorted creams.
Cuando llegó el mes de diciembre desde el inicio comencé a vender el tradicional dulce de lechosa y lo vendía en envases de plástico o en frascos decorados, y para la víspera de navidad y año nuevo comencé a vender las hallacas y los pedidos llovían. Para la cena de nochebuena ya no me quedaba ninguna, y tuve que preparar más para la semana siguiente, se vendieron hasta casi cerrar el año viejo. Fue realmente un éxito junto con los dulces de lechosa, por lo que me lancé a crear nuevos menús para el año venidero.
When the month of December came from the beginning, I began to sell the traditional milky sweet and I sold it in plastic containers or in decorated jars, and by Christmas and New Year's Eve I began to sell the hallacas and the orders poured in. For Christmas Eve dinner I didn't have any left, and I had to prepare more for the following week, they were sold until almost closing the old year. It was really a success along with the papaya sweets, so I set out to create new menus for the coming year.
De esa manera comencé el año con nuevas ideas como:
-Combos de pollo a la broaster con variados contornos como arepitas fritas, ensalada, papas fritas, etc.
-Almuerzos ejecutivos con los que se hacían promociones y descuentos para las empresas que se afiliaran.
-Bandejas y combos en oferta para los días especiales como los cumpleaños, aniversarios, el Día de la Amistad, el Día de las Madres, el Día del Padre, o el Día del Niño.
-Los postres seguían dentro del menú, y también se elaboraban por pedidos para algunas celebraciones.
- Los tequeños seguían en el menú y se integraron combos con pastelitos y empanadas con sus cremas variadas.
That way I started the year with new ideas like:
- Broaster chicken combos with various contours such as fried arepitas, salad, French fries, etc.
- Executive lunches with which promotions and discounts were made for the companies that were affiliated.
- Trays and combos on offer for special days such as birthdays, anniversaries, Friendship Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, or Children's Day.
- Desserts were still on the menu, and were also made to order for some celebrations.
- The tequeños were still on the menu and combos with cupcakes and empanadas with their various creams were integrated.
Este emprendimiento fue realmente exitoso. Pero como todas las cosas en la vida, buenas o malas, algunas llegan a su fin. Ya casi cumpliendo el año de este emprendimiento tan maravilloso tuve que abandonarlo para dedicarme a atender a mi madre, por lo que le puse una pausa.
This venture was really successful. But like all things in life, good or bad, some things come to an end. Already almost completing the year of this wonderful undertaking, I had to abandon it to dedicate myself to taking care of my mother, so I put a pause on it.
EL REGRESO
Ahora que ya me siento un poco más estable emocionalmente he decidido regresar al emprendimiento de comidas pero por el momento sólo con los postres y poco a poco iré reintegrando el resto del menú según como se vayan dando las cosas. Aunque no lo crean, retornar es tan fuerte como empezar, lo único que tengo a favor es que ya existe una marca reconocida y que tuvo aceptación en un momento, pero la tarea es ardua, hay que indagar precios de los productos, hacer un sondeo en el mercado para ver precios, calidad y demanda de otros productos, ya inicié pruebas de degustación en los lugares que frecuento como el yoga y el gimnasio para que conozcan mis productos y tuvieron una porra muy alentadora.
Para regresar, hay que hacer las cosas igual o mejor que cuando inicié, y eso equivale a preparar cuidadosamente cada detalle de la promoción y el público adonde quiero que lleguen los productos. El capital también es relevante, así que vamos poco a poco y cuando ya todo esté listo para que mis productos vuelvan a salir al mercado, sé que estaré a la altura de esa responsabilidad como emprendedora que tiene más de 30 años de experiencia en esta labor.

THE RETURN
Now that I feel a little more emotionally stable, I have decided to return to the food business, but for the moment only with desserts and little by little I will reintegrate the rest of the menu depending on how things go. Believe it or not, returning is as strong as starting, the only thing I have in favor is that there is already a recognized brand and that it was accepted at one point, but the task is arduous, you have to investigate product prices, do a survey in the market to see prices, quality and demand for other products, I have already started taste tests in the places I frequent like yoga and the gym so that they know my products and they had a very encouraging cheer.
To return, you have to do things the same or better than when I started, and that means carefully preparing every detail of the promotion and the public where I want the products to reach. Capital is also relevant, so we go little by little and when everything is ready for my products to go out on the market again, I know that I will be up to this responsibility as an entrepreneur who has more than 30 years of experience in this work. .
