Happy day to all... I had many hours without electricity yesterday and couldn't log in here. I wanted to post these last few days, and the same thing happened, but I need to recharge my strength and spiritual energy, and one of the things that allows me to do that right now is writing.
You know I love to share my coffee breaks of the week, where and when I enjoy them. So far, I've kept a record of my coffee breaks from the end of last Friday's session, with the usual morning toast at the gym, until today's toast. But I confess that the most interesting ones were from the weekend.
I'll tell you that during training, the rental of disposable cups was so high that most people opted to bring mugs from home and leave them there, hahaha. But sometimes there's someone—don't ask me why—who ends up using a plastic cup that's been lying around because the mugs look like pots. Mine is quite modest, neither too big nor too small.
Between Saturday and Sunday, I indulged in some lemon tea because I felt a slight cold coming on, and that was in the middle of the afternoon. I also had a few sips of the Sunday soup, which always hits the spot when we're feeling like that.
But I loved Friday afternoon coffee because I'm a cookie lover, and I discovered a new flavor of Maria Caledonia lemon cookies. I hadn't tried them before; in fact, I didn't even know they existed. Their lemon flavor is mild but delicious. I've already made a note to use them for making lemon marquise.
But without a doubt, the best coffee I enjoyed this weekend was with Sunday breakfast. I always break the rules that day and prepare something really tasty. This time I made tequeños and tequeyoyos with garlic and cilantro sauce. The latter is a Zulia dish that consists of the same tequeño, but in addition to cheese, it's filled with plantain.
And to wrap up my coffee break log, yesterday’s was a full house because almost the entire morning group was there—only three were missing. The funny thing is that two of the ones who were missing actually came on Monday. But we just never manage to get the whole group together. We’ll have to come up with something fun that really gets them excited, hahahahaha.

Feliz día para todos... muchas horas ayer sin energía eléctrica y no podía entrar por aqui. Quise publicar estos últimos dias, y pasó lo mismo, pero hay que retomar fuerzas y energía espiritual y una de las cosas que a esta hora me lo permiten, es escribir.
Saben que me encanta hacer un recorrido por mis cafecitos de la semana, dónde y en qué momento los disfruto. Hasta hoy tuve un registro de los cafecitos desde el cierre de la jornada pasada, el día viernes, en el acostumbrado brindis matutino del box hasta el brindis de hoy. Pero confieso que los más interesantes fueron los del fin de semana.
Les cuento que en el entrenamiento, la renta en vasitos desechables era tanta que la mayoría optó por llevar tazas de su casa y dejarlas allá, jajajajaja. Pero a veces hay alguna, que no me pregunten por qué, termina usando algún vasito de plástico que quedó por ahí guardado porque los tazones parecen ollas. La mía es bastante discreta, ni muy grande ni muy pequeña.
Entre sábado y domingo se dejó colar un té con limón porque sentí un leve malestar de resfriado, y eso fue a mitad de la tarde. También unos cuantos caldos de la sopa dominguera que siempre caen bien cuando nos sentimos así.
Pero el café de la merienda del viernes me encantó porque yo soy galletera, y encontré un nuevo sabor de galletas María Caledonia de limón. No las había probado, es más, ni siquiera sabía de su existencia. Su sabor a limón es suave pero delicioso. Ya las apunté para hacer marquesa de limón.
Pero sin duda, el café mejor acompañado de este fin de semana, fue con el desayuno del domingo. Ese día siempre rompo las reglas, y preparo algo muy rico. Esta vez hice tequeños y tequeyoyos con salsa de ajo y cilantro. Este último es una comida zuliana que consiste en el mismo tequeño pero aparte de queso, lleva por dentro plátano.
Y para completar mi registro de cafecitos, el de ayer fue full house porque casi estuvo el grupo de la mañana completo, sólo faltaron tres. Lo chistoso es que dos de las que faltaron, si vinieron el lunes. Pero es que nunca se logra que esté todo el grupo en su totalidad. Habrá que inventar un bochinche que las apasione, jajajajaja.
