Actually, I'm fortunate to have a garden at home. So I can enjoy the beautiful greenery of my own garden. That's why I also enjoy visiting places that share the same vibe.
Like this time, I discovered a small cafe with a great green vibe. The place is called "Hutan Lokal Cafe and Plants".
As the name suggests, this place offers the experience of dining amidst beautiful plants. We can see various ornamental plants around the semi-outdoor space.
The variety of ornamental plants made me fall in love. I feel like I want to take all of these plants home, hehe. It feels peaceful to linger here.
Let's see what I ordered at this cafe. I ordered a lunch menu. I ordered salmon with a taro drink.
Of course, I'll order food and drinks that I can't cook at home. Something different.
Pan-seared salmon served with mashed potatoes, roasted baby corn, and salad. A simple presentation, but with delicious flavor.
The portion size was also appropriate. Not too much, not too little. It was deliciously filling.
The salmon itself was just the right level of doneness. It was paired with the perfect BBQ sauce.
What about the drinks? I'm interested in trying a cute drink menu. Look at this! A cute bear is seen swimming in the drink. Ehehe
Creamy taro with berry sauce. With a soft creamy blend.
The bear-shaped ice cube, on the other hand, tasted similar to sweet, soft ice cream. So, it melted quickly.
At first, I didn't want to eat this bear-shaped ice cube. Because it does look cute. But I have to finish it quickly before this cute bear melts in the heat here.
Overall, this drink is better called a dessert because it's sweet and creamy. It's perfect for enjoying after a meal, especially during the hot dry season.
After eating, I took a walk around the cafe. The atmosphere is so cool, perfect for people from urban areas who are busy working all day.
I like how well they've arranged this place. Even though it's just a simple arrangement of ornamental plants, ornamental plants also require extra care to keep them growing well. So, this is all worth appreciating! A thumbs up!
I'm glad I found this place to relax on my country's national holiday. In the morning, they were usually full of people, and reservations were required. So, I came in the afternoon, and the crowds were already thin. It gets a bit hot during the day, but that's okay because the greenery provides more oxygen. Overall, it's a nice place to visit, and I paid $7 for my lunch. ❤️
