Creole Pavilion.
Hello friends, happy day, for today I bring you a typical dish from Venezuela, such as the Creole pavilion, in this post I will show you how to prepare it and how tasty it can be be the way you prepare it so I hope you like it.
Ingredients
- 250gr of beans
- 1 cup of rice
- ½ kg of meat to mingle
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1½ onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- salt to taste
Ingredientes
- 250gr de caraotas
- 1 tz de arroz
- ½ kg de carne para esmechar
- 2 plátanos maduros
- 1½ cebolla
- 2 dientes de ajo
- sal al gusto
To start preparing this dish, we take the meat and cook it with plenty of water until it is soft, normally it is cooked under a pressure cooker but in my case I do not have that type of pot so it takes longer to cook in a normal pot but the result will be the same, being able to marinate the meat.
In this same step, in another pot, we take the previously cleaned beans to the kitchen with plenty of water until they are also soft, the process of cooking the beans took me about two hours since I added half a tablespoon of baking soda to soften a little faster. In that two-hour period, chop an onion into small squares along with the garlic cloves and fry them for about two minutes and then add them to the beans along with a tablespoon of salt.
With the beans cooking and the meat almost ready, I remove it from the heat and let it cool a bit and then begin to mingle it into thin strips of meat. With this step ready, we only have to fry half an onion and when they are soft, add the meat together with two tablespoons of tomato paste and half a glass of water, let it cook for about 30 minutes until it thickens a little, stirring constantly so that it does not stick .
