Hello dear friends,
Hallo liebe Freunde,

last weekend we finally had sunshine, and I could finally set off for my now ritual spring bike ride in the Spessart. Especially in spring love the play of colors of nature. The bright green of the plants, in between the white flowers, combined with the deep blue of the sky and the cool water of the Main river.

am letzten Wochenende hatten wir endlich Sonnenschein, und ich konnte endlich zu meiner mittlerweile zum Ritual gewordenen Frühlings Radtour in den Spessart aufbrechen. Besonders im Frühling liebe das Farbenspiel der Natur. Das helle Grün der Pflanzen, dazwischen die weißen Blüten, kombiniert mit dem tiefen Blau des Himmels und des kühlnen Mainwassers.

My Spessartride starts on the lock between Mondfeld and Faulbach. On the picture you can see Faulbach on the Main, located in the South Spessart. Due to the bypass road, the town center is now extremely calmed.

Meine Spessartradtour beginnt auf der Schleuse zwischen Mondfeld und Faulbach. Auf dem Bild sieht mal das im Südspessart gelegene Faulbach am Main. Auf Grund der Umgehungsstraße ist der Ortskern mittlerweile extrem beruhigt.

The bike path along the Main River is certainly one of those that is much traveled. The section from Stadtprozelten and Dorfprozelten belongs to the beautiful ones. The main sight of Stadtprozelten is probably the Henneburg. From the ferry, which connects Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria at this point, I have already told you several times.

Der Main Radweg gehört mit Sicherheit zu den stark befahrenen. Das Teilstück von Stadtprozelten und Dorfprozelten gehört zu den schönen. Die Hauptsehenwürdigkeit von Stadtprozelten dürfte die Henneburg sein. Von der Fähre, die Baden-Württemberg und Bayern an dieser Stelle verbindet habe ich Euch ja schon öfter berichtet.

Now I leave Stadtprozelten with a virtual view of the magnificent Main riverbank. In the next report I will stop at the harbor area of Dorfprozelten. You can enjoy a view in my video from the last post, which I post here again
