Here is another wood project.
It’s made from western cedar and I used a propane torch to burn it. Apparently this helps wood NOT to rot. It’s a Japanese technique, I think.
Then I stained it with a bright blue dye that you mix with water. And then I finished it with about 10 coats of water based varathane.
It’s a really comfortable chair!
I’ll add more of the blue dye wood work in my next post.
