“sugar and spice and all things nice"
In the spirit of Helloween! But first, it’s a frosty clear night out in the valley with a slim chance of seeing the northern lights! The last time I saw them was in Vancouver coming home from band practice in 2000. It was very rare to see them right in the West End.
So, I’d never heard of_ Elizabeth Bathory _before this week. My question to you is** Was She Diabolic?** Did she commit around 600-murders of children? Did she torture them? Eat them? Bathe in their blood?
Here is a fairly decent full length movie The Blood Queen and it’s well worth watching:
And here is a documentary:
For me red flags went up when I found out that the Jesuits were involved in bringing this story to public attention. I don’t believe much that those actors say and this time is no different. It’s likely she was beastly and unkind to her servant slaves but that was not uncommon. It’s also plausible that this was a black-washing for profit/money by the extended family. But could we ever be certain?
Muse on this very well done story of** The Book Of Nod:**
Perhaps Elizabeth was of a certain vampiric bloodline?
At any rate, I was for a very long time confused about Alice Cooper, until I became quite aware of Christian Gnosticism and then any cognitive dissonance surrounding ole _Vincent Furnier _dissipated. And it wasn’t just his nose although Miles Mathis has likely commented on that. I’ll finish this one up by linking Cooper at his best: Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter MADE Alice what he was at that time. Their guitar work was amazing! It’s worth checking out their intro solo on Lou Reed’s, Sweet Jane, too...
That was right in the beginnings of hundreds of shows I saw at Maple Leafs Gardens but sadly I didn’t get to this one...
Okay...you’re likely quite frightened by now so I’ll end there!
BOO!
