Hi, Hello! Nice to greet you again, after a few days away (for family reasons) today I share a recipe that I tried to make Pan de Naranja, and I tell you that it is super delicious besides being relatively easy to prepare, the only thing you should really consider it is the time that you delay for its elaboration since you must let the mixture rest a few times for a certain time (I will explain it) ...
- 3 eggs.
- 215g of Sugar (sifted).
- 1 teaspoon of yeast (fresh or powder).
- 1 rate of warm milk.
- 100g butter (melted).
- Juice of an orange (if you like, you also add zest).
- Vanilla essence or butter (to taste).
- 800g of flour (sifted).
Put the egg yolks of two eggs in the blender (reserve the whites), the sugar and the butter to beat at medium speed until it is a homogeneous cream.
Then, add the other ingredients to the mixture, leaving the last flour to add it little by little.
Once the uniform mixture is seen, remove from the blender and apart we beat the egg whites (the two reserved plus another one) to the point of sigh ... Add little by little and knead in a bowl together with the previous mixture.
We leave the covered preparation to rest for 30-40 minutes or until it is seen that I double its size. Meanwhile, we are pre-heating the oven and preparing the mold (floured and buttered).
After the time, we put the mixture in the mold and let it rest another 30 minutes. We rub over the remaining egg yolk (previously whipped) so that it browns when cooked, and we take it to the oven for 30-35 minutes. We will test your cooking point by burying a wooden stick and seeing that it comes out completely clean when you remove it. After completing the cooking time will be ready a delicious bread, you can sprinkle honey or nuts on top if you want (for more orange flavor you can add a little more juice or orange zest).
I hope you liked it, once you taste it you will realize its wonderful texture and delicious taste. A strong hug! Until next time 馃槉馃挮
