When a child is born the first thing it does is to cry. Thereafter it is cleaned up and handed over to the mother to breastfeed. At that stage it knows nothing other than the mother. It needs the mother for survival.
As time goes on, the child begins to recognise faces within it's immediate environment. It will start crawling, to stand erect and then take it's first step. The child at this stage begins to exercise a little independence and discretion in that decides where to crawl or walk to and all that.
Soon, the child is enrolled in the kindergarten, then nursery, primary and then secondary school. At this stage the individual is no longer regarded as a child but to as an adulescent. The individual can choose to learn a trade or further his education in the university.
Where he chooses to learn a trade he will start making money gradually until when the Almighty prospers him to become wealthy from his handiwork.
Similarly, where he decides to further his education in the university or any other higher institution and graduate after years of intensive studies and exams; he goes into the labour market and gets a well paid job courtesy of the grace, favour and goodwill of the Almighty God. The individual rises through the ranks and becomes successful and/or wealthy.
At that point in his life, the individual starts looking for protection. Protection from evil forces, protection from harm, and even death! He forgets the person who has seen him through from his childbirth up till now that he has become something in life. Now that he has started earning money he wants protection from the wrong quarters.
Some people run to trees for protection. Others run to rivers, moulded objects and other fetish things all in the name of seeking for protection. They forgot that the Almighty created all these things and he is the ultimate source of protection and has been guiding him from birth till adulthood!!!
I have been trusting God the Almighty and he has been protecting me all these years till now. He has never failed me one bit. I am writing from experience, believe you me. Put your whole trust in him and he will protect you till the day he will calls you to glory.
