This story begins with a boy, and his name is Joshua. This Joshua is a 20 years old young boy, and he has parents and ten siblings, five boys and five girls. But unfortunately, they lost their last born, which happens to be a girl, so they are now nine in number, five boys and four girls. And his mother is not wealthy, and his father is not wealthy also. They are just trying to survive and managing their life with the children God has used to bless them.
And this family, all of them were born and brought up in the village where they all stay and try to survive. And this boy happens to be the second to last because they lost the last girl, because before he was having two younger sisters, and they lost one, so he now becomes the second to last born.
This is where the main story begins. This boy named Joshua has been trying to pay his school fees on his own from J.S.1 till S.S.S.3 in the secondary school because his parents have no money to pay his school fees. So, he struggles to pay his school fees all by himself. Till even WAEC, he has to go to the neighboring village to look for money. There, he do all kinds of job trying to make money he can pay his WAEC fees and even get money to buy something. So, at the end of the holiday, he got the money for WAEC fee and also bought himself the first new Android phone, and he was so happy because his classmates used to mock him because he doesn't have phone. But that holiday, he finally got phone before he got back from the holiday.
When he comes back to his village and now register on WAEC and give small money to his mother, not quite long someone came into the village and trying to set up a POS business in the village. So, after when the man set up the POS business, the man was looking for someone to manage it for him because he might not be able to stay too long in the village because he has other things to do in the city. And besides, the man is University student, so he has to go back to the city.
And this man ask around the village to know who can be trusted to take care of his POS business when he is not around, and the people he asked recommended Joshua to him. And they said Joshua is a very good and hard working boy, and he was brought up from a good background. He doesn't thief or steal ever since he was born, and he doesn't fight too. His family is good, that's how they trained him.
So, the next day this man sent for Joshua, and Joshua came. And the man said he is looking for someone to manage his POS when he has returned to the city, and the people in village recommend him. So, he now ask Joshua, "Can you manage for me?" And Joshua responded, "Yes, I can manage it for you," with excitement on his face.
And they discussed how the all thing will proceed and the terms and conditions, and Joshua said no problem, it's fine by him. So, they proceed the teaching. The man begin to teach Joshua how the POS business works and how to operate it because it was the first time Joshua is seeing POS in reality apart from TV and movies. So, they begin the training of the POS, that is how to operate the POS, for a week. And Joshua is smart, so he has known how to operate it, and the man now tells him how the business works.
