Onboarding users into the Hive ecosystem is not enough by itself. We need to guide new users on how to enter this ecosystem in a way that benefits the entire ecosystem and helps improve their own growth and future. Simply joining Hive to earn rewards and then leaving after some time because of disappointment is not beneficial...

Real onboarding means helping users grow their accounts, buy Hive, make friends, increase their followers, build influence and provide value to the ecosystem... This is the kind of onboarding that can make a real difference.

🏆 Contest Reward: 20 HIVE

With this in mind, I want to arrange a contest with a reward of 20 HIVE.

The contest is very simple. You have to answer the question in just 3 to 5 lines (Please keep your comments short and to the point. Lengthy comments will be ignored.) in the comment section. I will select the best comment and the winner will receive 20 HIVE.

(I know the reward isn't much but I am offering what I can afford 😊)

❓ Today's Contest Question

What should new Hive users do to grow their accounts and build a good future in this ecosystem?

Participants only need to explain what new Hive users should do to grow their accounts and build a good future in this ecosystem.

This is todays question. Also, keep in mind that a user who gives the best answer in the comments will not only have a chance to win the reward but may also receive an upvote.

📅 Contest Schedule

The contest starts today and the result will be announced next Friday. I will continue bringing you more exciting twists in the future.

Every Friday with a new contest topic!

💡 My Own Answer

This question is also for me so I want to share a short answer of my own.

What should New Hive users do to grow their accounts?

When a new user joins Hive the first challenge is to understand the ecosystem properly. They need to understand its mechanism, how it works and what kind of behavior can help them grow on this platform.

1. Understand the Hive Ecosystem

The first thing I believe they should do is learn the rules of this ecosystem. They should understand how to survive and grow on Hive, how to blog properly, how to use tags and community correctly and how to increase their friends and followers. The best approach is to understand these things first.

2. Increase Hive Power

The second point is that whenever a user joins Hive, my recommendation is to buy as much Hive as possible and add it to their Hive Power.

A user who starts with a free account usually faces more struggles than someone who buys Hive and powers it up. This is because having more Hive Power can help attract people's attention.

Especially when a new user joins, I usually check their Hive Power. If they have started with a good amount of Hive Power I become more interested in their account and it leaves a very good impression on me.

3. Create Valuable Content

The third point is that creating content that interests people is very important. This means creating content that is useful, helpful and valuable to others. Such content can receive more attention and appreciation in the ecosystem.

🤝 Your Turn!

These are my thoughts. Now I would also like to hear your valuable opinions. Share your best advice in the comment section and wait for the 20 HIVE reward.
