What has been the best thing lately? For me, that would be lots of avocados from my daughter's tree in their backyard. It has been growing for years, and we finally had our first avocado harvest yesterday. So, when the avocados were ripe and ready to pick, we gathered them together. The tree had so much fruit and the ones on the photo are just some of them. It was the right timing to harvest because of the coming monsoon rains brought about by the low pressure area.
I shared some of the avocados to my siblings and some friends. They love avocados as much as I do. It felt like a perfect way to spread the happiness and enjoy them together. I gave each of them a bag of avocados, and their faces lit up with happiness and wide grins. Gone are those days when you had to rush to a nearby supermarket to buy pricey avocados. Made me realize the importance of growing my own food with little to no cost.

One of my friends sent this photo to me. She made a simple midnight snack wow. I think she just added a little sugar for some sweetness then some powdered milk to add more creaminess. For me, I would be crashing some ice and add it to the mix and make an afternoon smoothie which reminds me of childhood.
Sharing those avocados wasn't just about the fruit; it was about sharing our love for gardening and nature. It brought us even closer as a family, knowing we could enjoy these delicious treats that came straight from our own backyard.
And you know what? It's not just about the taste. Avocados are actually good for you! They have lots of nutrients like vitamins, potassium, and fiber, which are all great for our health.
Anyway, it was such a heartwarming experience, seeing my daughter's hard work turn into something so special. And sharing the avocados with my siblings and friends made it even better. We'll definitely remember this little backyard avocado adventure for a long time!
