I have included my steemit introduction here for the purposes of explaining the topic of Influencing Thinking and Inspiring Performance.
I was able to overcome my addictive behaviour in 14 days with professional intervention.
Would you like to know how you can change any counter-productive behaviour in the same way?
Of course we all have problematical behaviours that impact on our spiritual life, family and friends and health even work and finances.
Today I want to talk specifically about behaviour change. To make this more practical and pertinent to you the reader, please identify a current counter-productive/ problematical behaviour that you are struggling with.
In this and two following articles i will share with you the most powerful behaviour change tool that will bring about long-term behaviour change. Firstly you need to DESIRE to change. Secondly you have to believe you can and thirdly act on it. I will help you.
Behaviour Change:
What are some of the interventions that Corporate companies, individuals and teams use to bring about behaviour change?
They include, training, discipline, incentives, recognition through awards, remuneration, bonuses and so on. On many occasions particularly when working in the corporate environment decision makers would complain about the exorbitant costs of trying to change behaviour but found that not even a few days after the intervention, people were back to their old habits.
Of course this throws a bad light on training and the consultant presenting it.
To change behaviour long term there are two more steps to take.
They are the subject of my next article.
