In relation to your goals it could indicate that you're on the right track. You can never be 100% sure why you get certain results but making progress could mean that you're doing something right and that you are applying the right strategies and actions for the desired outcome. Whatever it is that you're doing, it seems to be working and that's a fantastic sign.

Why personal progress and getting better is important.

If you're not moving, you're falling behind, and here is why that matters.

In any personal challenge you undertake, it's YOU against the obstacle, but mostly it's you against your own flaws and personal inadequacies.

All of that to say that, if you would be better prepared, stronger, faster, smarter, with fewer flaws and more strengths in some key areas - you would have more chances to succeed.

Personal progress is training for success and
improving yourself means increasing the odds of you "winning" against the obstacle.

Personal progress is the best and always the first way to make the world a better place.

This is the easiest path towards impacting the world in a big way.

You cannot control or educate the world but you can control or educate yourself and that's a great start.

You are a tiny part of the world that you're trying to change. You are our own responsibility.

As you get better, the world gets better and that's no coincidence.

You are the world you see and the one you share with others, so your personal progress is the betterment of humanity.

Imagine the world if people would complain less about others and would work on themselves more.
Besides trying to fix the world before you fix yourself is intellectual dishonesty.
