In 2021, I challenged myself to run every day, 365 days -no exception. And I completed my challenge by running around 1,500 km without skipping a single day.

Somewhere around May, I started running with a heavy backpack. Stretching myself in that way felt great, but it also made me think -why do people always want the results without the work or the struggle? Why do we want to have it easy?; Why do we avoid problems and challenges?

**Problems are opportunities to challenge yourself to unlock your potential and grow. **The problem is that most people want the result without the work, they want to have it without needing to deserve it.

But don't they know that when you get something you don't deserve you don't own it -it owns you? To have and fully enjoy something, you have to master yourself and upgrade your mindset first.

For example, if you become rich holding a healthy mindset around money, you own the money; If you win the lottery -money will own you.

That's because we don't understand the true value of things. Success is a lousy teacher and very short-lived. When will we understand that the real value of effort is not success but the personal transformation and who you become in the process?

Success can always go away, but who you become will always stay with you.
