Playing a high mana battle has a different kind of twist where you get to see high health and high armor monsters from both sides. And when there are strong tank monsters you also get to see heavy strikes. Your winning in the battle totally depends on understanding the rulesets and planning a good strategy.

In any battle if you want to increase your win rate it is necessary that you are a proper strategy planner and make a good monster selection according to the rulesets. For this you need to understand the rulesets properly know them and make your plan accordingly.

If you do this your 50% win rate will be confirmed and the remaining win rate depends on your monster selection and its best positioning.

Todays 49 mana battle was very interesting but at the same time we got to see some hard rulesets that created quite a lot of confusion about which monsters should be given more preference and how to survive well in these rulesets.

Lets find out about these rulesets how I adapted my strategy and which monsters I gave more preference to.

RULESET 1: OUTSIDER

This is a ruleset where you are allowed to summon only one Wild Unit. Apart from this you cannot select any other monsters.

So according to this ruleset you need to adopt the strategy of choosing your best Wild Unit and you should try to select a monster with high health and high armor.

And if possible if it also has good power then this will be considered a versatile Wild Unit monster for you and according to this ruleset it will be your best selection.

RULESET 2: NOXIOUS FUMES

According to this ruleset all units whether they belong to the enemy units or the allied team get the Poison ability at the start of the battle.

And what happens with Poison is that all units get poisoned at the beginning of the battle. This means that in every round minus 2 health is reduced from the health of all units.

You can understand it like this that it is an auto health reducer where in every round your monsters health will be reduced by minus 2.

Now if you want to survive well in this ruleset it is necessary to adopt the strategy of selecting your high health monsters and giving them good positioning. The more high health monsters you place on the battlefield the longer you will survive in the battle.

RULESET 3: COUNTER SPELL

All units get the Magic Reflect ability and because of this 50 percent of the magic damage is returned to the attacker and that too in a rounded up form.

Now how does rounded up work? For example if the enemy has 5 Magic Power then when it hits any unit 50 percent of that damage also rounded up means 3 damage is returned back to the attacker.

According to this ruleset it is necessary to adopt the strategy of selecting as few magic attackers as possible and you should try not to select them at all in the battle. But if you are forced to select them then try to select the monsters with the lowest power among the magic attackers so that you can protect yourself from the Counter Spell ruleset.

MY STRATEGY AND MONSTER SELECTION

Now lets find out what strategy I adapted according to these three rulesets and which monsters I selected and positioned.

My strategy was something like this. I selected my Archon monster with a monster that has the Minus One Health ability. Because of this at the start of the battle the health of all enemy units would be reduced by minus one.

And according to these rulesets as their health decreases the enemy units would become even weaker which would be a success for me.

On the front line I placed a strong tank monster that had good health and armor and it was also a melee attacker.

Similarly in the second position I again placed a strong tank monster that had high health and armor and along with this it also had the Void ability which again is an excellent counter attack against magic damage.

In the third position I selected a mixed combination monster of melee and magic attackers which had good health.

After that in the mid - back positions I enlisted all my ranged attackers. I also had the option of using good magic monsters but because of the Counter Spell ruleset I skipped them and gave more preference to the ranged attacker monsters.

ON THE BATTLEFIELD

When I looked at the enemy units monsters on the battlefield it was quite an interesting competition. Their monster selection was also much better and they selected only one magic monster which was a plus point for me. Thinking about this I felt that perhaps the turning point of this battle could be in my favor.

In the first round the battle continued quite well. Heavy strikes were seen from both sides and as soon as I entered the second round the Noxious Fumes ability was going to be applied to everyone. So everyones health was reduced by minus two.

Because of this my front line monster was eliminated early which gave me a big shock. But still the selection of my remaining monsters was quite strong and this was good news for me.

At the start of Round Three I eliminated the enemy units secondary tank. And because of Noxious Fumes three enemy units and two of my units remained.

This means that by this round the competition had become two versus three. And Round Three was the end of this battle because all the monsters that were alive had two or less health.

As soon as the Noxious Fumes ability was applied again all five monsters both the enemy and allied units were eliminated and in this way the battle was converted into a draw.

Because of this Noxious Fumes ruleset I survived in this battle. Otherwise my monsters had become quite weak but the good thing is that the battle was converted into a draw.

What would your monster selection be in this type of ruleset and which strategy you will adopt? will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
