In different battles we get to see many Rule Sets but the one I like the most is Born Again where all units get another life another chance to survive and come back to life after dying once with 1 Health and 100% Armor.

This is a very excellent Rule Set and if you understand it properly you can take full advantage of this battle and this Rule Set and you can achieve the best results.

Today's 49 mana battle was very interesting because of these two special Rule Sets. One gives an advantage while the other creates difficulty because of the Cripple ability. To win any battle it is very important to understand and read these Rule Sets properly and adopt your strategy and plan accordingly.

Before we move towards the battlefield it is very important to understand the Rule Sets. which two Rule Sets appeared what my strategy and plan were and which monsters I preferred.

Rule Set 1: BORN AGAIN

This is a Rule Set in which all units whether they belong to the allied team or the enemy team get the Rebirth ability. What happens is that they self-resurrect once during the battle with 1 Health and 100% Armor.

For example if one of my units is fighting in the battle and gets eliminated it will get Rebirth and come back to life. However this time it will return with 1 Health and 100% Armor. Along with this all the buffs on that unit will be removed and its turn will also be skipped when it is reset.

According to this Rule Set you should adopt a strategy of selecting monsters with high Health and high Armor by looking at the mana capacity. You should try more to select monsters with high Armor because you will get 100% Armor again.

Rule Set 2: TIS BUT SCRATCHES

According to this Rule Set all units whether they belong to the allied team or the enemy team get the Cripple ability. With Cripple whenever a unit makes a successful attack the target's maximum Health is also reduced by 1.

First the attack damage from a successful attack will be applied and along with that the target's Health will be reduced by another 1 because of the Cripple ability.

So according to this Rule Set you should make a plan to select high strikers as well so that you can take full advantage of the Cripple ability.

WHAT WAS MY STRATEGY ACCORING TO THESE RULESETS?

Keeping both these Rule Sets in mind what strategy did I adopt and what was my monster selection?

I selected an Armor ability Archon for my Archon monster. This means that at the beginning of the battle all my monsters will get an additional +1 Armor. Since the first Rule Set gives more importance to monsters with Armor I selected an Armor Archon for this reason.

Then I selected a strong tank monster for my first position which has good Health and good Armor.

In my second position I again placed a mixed combination of a melee and magic attacker. This would allow it to keep attacking while staying in the second position working like the Reach ability.

In the third and fourth positions I selected a mix of magic and ranged attackers that could stay in the middle positions and continue attacking. These units would keep delivering heavy attacks.

Similarly in the fifth position I again selected a melee attacker because of its high Armor.

Finally I selected a Spellmonger monster whose Thorns ability would reflect damage back to any melee attacker that attacked it...

ON THE BATTLEFIELD

When I looked at my lineup and my opponent's lineup on the battlefield I found the situation quite confusing because the enemy monsters were also very strong and my opponent had also lined up strong ranged and magic attackers. It was quite confusing and I could not understand who would win this battle.

Because of the Rebirth Rule Set this battle continued for a long time. From Round 1 to Round 3 powerful strikes were coming from both sides and all the monsters were still alive.

However in Round 4 I saw that two of my units had been destroyed. My first two front-line units were eliminated while the enemy's front line was very strong and survived in the battle for a long time because the attacks were missing.

In Rounds 4 and 5 the battle continued with strong attacks from both sides. Another one of my units was eliminated and the battle reached a stage where it was 3 versus 6. This meant that six enemy units were alive while I had only three units left.

At this stage I felt that perhaps I had already lost the battle because the enemy's front line was very strong.

But in Round 6 I saw that the enemy's first tank monster was also eliminated and the battle situation changed to 5 versus 2.

The competition continued in Rounds 6 and 7 but at the end of Round 8 my last monster was also eliminated and I suffered defeat in this battle.

I was not expecting this kind of defeat but it became possible because of my wrong monster selection. I should have placed a melee attacker in the first position so that I could take better advantage of the Cripple Rule Set.

What would your strategy be in this kind of battle and which monsters would you prefer? will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
