Today I got to see a very interesting and excellent battle in this 34 mana battle where both sides were making excellent attacks. Especially in these hard rulesets where the mana cost is also not very high it becomes a big challenge to plan your strategy according to these rulesets and decide which monsters to select.

Of course if you understand the ruleset well and build your strategy correctly this time and select the right monsters you can definitely win battles like these.

Today's battle was also interesting in a way because a special restriction was given that we were only allowed to summon armored units. Now the team whose deck has more armored monsters will be stronger. That is why it is always recommended that you try to keep a balanced selection of monsters in your deck so that you have a chance to survive in every type of ruleset.

Before we move towards the battle and I explain my strategy and monster selection plan it is better to understand these three rulesets properly and what they explain and how I planned my strategy according to them.

Ruleset 1: STAMPEDE

This is a ruleset where all units get the Trample ability. What happens with Trample is that whenever a melee attack defeats a unit it immediately performs another melee attack and targets the unit in the next position. This can trigger multiple times.

According to this ruleset it is important to adapt your strategy by trying to select as many melee attackers as possible in your deck so that after defeating any unit with a melee attack it immediately performs another attack which is a plus point according to this ruleset.

Ruleset 2: SUPER SNEAK

According to this ruleset all units whether they belong to the allied team or the enemy team and have a melee attack get the Sneak ability. The function of the Sneak ability is to target the unit in the last position.

So again this ruleset gives more priority to melee units. According to this ruleset you need to adapt your strategy by trying to select as many melee attackers as possible and position them properly.

Ruleset 3: HEAVY METAL

This is the ruleset that brings the biggest restriction to this battle. You are only allowed to summon armored units. All ranged attackers and magic attackers in your deck will be disabled and you will not be able to select them.

According to this ruleset you need to adapt your strategy by trying to select the strongest armored monsters in your deck that also have Heavy Strike and give more preference to melee units.

MONSTER SELECTION ACCORDING TO THE RULESETS

According to these three rulesets the strategy I adopted was that first of all I selected an Archon monster that provides plus one Armor. This means that at the beginning of the battle all my units would get an additional plus one Armor which would make them stronger and more powerful.

I selected a strong tank monster in the front position that had a melee attack. In the second position I selected a mini tank monster that had no attack but my goal was to keep it in the second position so that it could absorb damage for two to three rounds or at least two rounds and allow my backline to keep attacking.

In the third and fourth positions I placed a mix of magic melee and ranged attackers. They would stay in the backline and keep attacking continuously. Finally I selected a Spellmonger monster that had the Thorns ability. Whenever a melee attack hit it the return damage would also be dealt back to the attacker which would weaken the enemy lineup.

AN INTENSE BATTLE FROM ROUND 1 TO ROUND 7

When I saw the lineups of my units and the enemy units on the battlefield I thought it would be an easy win because the enemy had selected only three monsters. Of course the enemy had fewer armored monsters so they faced considerable difficulty and could not select stronger monsters.

From the beginning I thought this would be a very easy win but believe me when the battle started both sides were making very strong attacks. From Round 1 to Round 3 all the monsters were still alive.

I was thinking that two enemy units would be eliminated in Round 2 but that did not happen. Until Round 3 the units of both teams remained alive. In Round 4 the enemy's backline monster which was a strong tank monster with a good melee attack was destroyed.

Then from Round 4 to Round 5 we again saw heavy strikes from both sides. In Round 6 another enemy unit was destroyed and the battle became one versus five. At this point I understood that the match had now turned in my favor. In this way at the end of Round 7 the enemy's last unit was also eliminated.

Believe me in the early rounds of this battle I felt that I might lose because the enemy had selected fewer monsters but with excellent positioning they had selected three units that created quite a lot of problems for me.

If you select your monsters properly in rulesets like these you can definitely achieve victory in the battle.

What would your strategy be in this type of ruleset and which monsters would you give preference to? will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
