Today I come with the second part of the "Divergent" trilogy. A review of the first part can be found in the previous post (click here).
"Insurgent" is the continuation of Veronica Roth's bestseller, in which we learn the increasingly deeply hidden secrets of a peculiar society divided into factions.
The inter-faction conflict is constantly growing, and new secrets come to light. More and more challenges arise, which the protagonists must face. We get to know more about all the factions, their headquarters and the diverse characters of their members.
One of the biggest pluses of "Insurgent" for me are the realistically created characters. We see the inner struggle of the main character and get to know her worries as she faces new challenges and threatening situations. Tris is brave, fierce and stubborn in her pursuit of her goal and to find out the truth. She also faces the consequences of her own actions and guilt.
Dangerous events drive the dynamic plot. Woven into this is political turmoil and the struggle for influence, creating the perfect backdrop for exciting action and an engaging storyline. There are quite a few twists and turns that the reader is not ready for. Relationships between the characters change and loyalties are put to the test.
The second part of "Divergent" surprises more than the first. It not only provides entertainment, but also makes you think more deeply. This book will undoubtedly delight fans of the previous part and motivate them to reach for the final instalment of the series.

Dziś przychodzę z drugą częścią trylogii "Niezgodna". Recenzja pierwszej części znajduje się w poprzednim poście (kliknij tutaj).
"Zbuntowana" to kontynuacja bestselleru Veroniki Roth, w której poznajemy coraz głębiej skrywane tajemnice osobliwego społeczeństwa podzielonego na frakcje.
Konflikt międzyfrakcyjny nieustannie narasta, a na jaw wychodzą nowe sekrety. Pojawia się coraz więcej wyzwań, którym bohaterowie muszą stawić czoło. Poznajemy bliżej wszystkie frakcje, ich siedziby i różnorodne charaktery ich członków.
Jednym z największych plusów "Zbuntowanej" są dla mnie realistycznie wykreowane postacie. Obserwujemy wewnętrzną walkę głównej bohaterki i poznajemy jej zmartwienia, kiedy staje w obliczu nowych wyzwań i zagrażających jej sytuacji. Tris jest odważna, zawzięta i uparta w dążeniu do celu i do poznania prawdy. Mierzy się też z konsekwencjami własnych czynów i poczuciem winy.
Niebezpieczne wydarzenia napędzają dynamiczną akcję. Wplecione w nią zawirowania polityczne i walka o wpływy tworzą idealne tło dla emocjonującej akcji i wciągającej fabuły. Pojawia się sporo zwrotów akcji, na które czytelnik nie jest gotowy. Relacje między bohaterami ulegają zmianie, a lojalność zostaje wystawiona na próbę.
Druga część "Niezgodnej" zaskakuje bardziej niż pierwsza. Nie tylko dostarcza rozrywki, ale również skłania do głębszych przemyśleń. Ta książka bez wątpienia zachwyci fanów poprzedniej części i zmotywuje ich do sięgnięcia po finałową odsłonę serii.
