Today I am going to talk about a book titled "Divergent". It is the first part of a trilogy by Veronica Roth.
The society was divided into factions: Candor, Abnegation, Erudite, Amity and Dauntless. Each faction has its own characteristics and rules. Upon reaching the age of sixteen, each citizen is subjected to an affiliation test that will identify the faction that best suits them. Those who do not fit into any of the factions are considered factionless and excluded from society, and those who possess the traits of more than one faction are Incompatible and therefore treated as dangerous and must be eliminated. Unfortunately, some factions are not the most fond of each other. More and more conflict develops between them, which eventually leads to war.
If someone were to ask me what my favourite type of book is, I would explain it to them using the example of "Divergent". - action and lots of mystery combined with a delicate love plot in the background.
I really liked the believably portrayed character of the main character, Beatrice "Tris" Prior.. The author captures her inner conflicts, fears and strength in fighting her own weaknesses. Tris is an independent and strong heroine who becomes an inspiring role model for readers. I like how, as the plot progresses, she overcomes the mindset or behaviour instilled in her. It was this insight into her thoughts that I missed while watching the film. She also shows great courage by acting in harmony with herself and fighting against a system that imposes certain rules and restrictions on people. As we travel along with Tris, we discover the secrets of factions, political intrigue and the romance that develops between her and another main character.
I liked the creation of the unique world in which the novel is set, especially the factions that differ from each other in dress and values. The relationships between the characters are also brilliantly portrayed, both friendship and love, as well as rivalry and tension.
All in all, 'Divergent' by Veronica Roth is a solid debut that delivers an engaging plot, an interesting world and well-crafted characters. If you like novels with strong characters and mysterious intrigue, this book will definitely appeal to you.

Dzisiaj opowiem o książce pt. "Niezgodna". Jest to pierwsza część trylogii, której autorką jest Veronica Roth.
Społeczeństwo zostało podzielone na frakcje: Prawość, Altruizm, Erudycja, Serdeczność i Nieustraszoność. Każda frakcja posiada swoje własne cechy i zasady. Po osiągnięciu szesnastego roku życia każdy obywatel zostaje poddany testowi przynależności, który wskaże mu najbardziej pasującą do niego frakcję. Niepasujący do żadnej z frakcji zostają uznani za bezfrakcyjnych i wykluczeni ze społeczeństwa, a ci, którzy posiadają cechy więcej niż jednej frakcji, są Niezgodni, a zatem traktowani jako niebezpieczni i muszą zostać wyeliminowani. Niestety, niektóre frakcje nie pałają do siebie największą sympatią. Narasta między nimi coraz większy konflikt, co ostatecznie prowadzi do wojny.
Gdyby ktoś zapytał mnie o ulubiony typ książki, wytłumaczyłabym mu to właśnie na przykładzie "Niezgodnej" - akcja i wiele tajemnic połączone z delikatnym wątkiem miłosnym w tle.
Bardzo spodobała mi się wiarygodnie przedstawiona postać głównej bohaterki - Beatrice "Tris" Prior. Autorka oddaje jej wewnętrzne konflikty, obawy i siłę w walce z własnymi słabościami. Tris to niezależna i silna bohaterka, która staje się inspirującym wzorem dla czytelników. Podoba mi się to, jak wraz z biegiem akcji przezwycięża wpojony jej sposób myślenia, czy zachowywania się. Podczas oglądania filmu brakowało mi właśnie tego wniknięcia w jej myśli. Wykazuje się również wielką odwagą działając w zgodzie ze sobą i walcząc z systemem, który narzuca ludziom określone zasady i ograniczenia. Podróżując razem z Tris, odkrywamy tajemnice frakcji, intrygi polityczne oraz romans, który rozwija się między nią a innym głównym bohaterem.
Przypadła mi do gustu kreacja wyjątkowego świata, w którym toczy się akcja powieści, a szczególnie frakcje różniące się od siebie ubiorem i wyznawanymi wartościami. Świetnie przedstawione są również relacje między postaciami, zarówno przyjaźń, jak i miłość, a także rywalizacja i napięcie.
Podsumowując, "Niezgodna" autorstwa Veroniki Roth to solidny debiut, który dostarcza wciągającej fabuły, interesującego świata i dobrze wykreowanych postaci. Jeśli lubisz powieści z mocnymi bohaterami i tajemniczymi intrygami, ta książka z pewnością przypadnie Ci do gustu.
