Entering the heart of the jaws.

"Sometimes the changes in a game are not all bad, you just have to know how to appreciate the good in them"

Ever since I entered the Battle for Azeroth I knew it wouldn't last more than a few months, even so. I did my best to catch up on the expansions before I left for Shadowlands, and even though it took me a long time to download the game (due to my internet connection). I was finally able to fully download it, BUT, not before getting these beautiful mounts:

This beauty of mount from the Legion expansion is one of the most expensive and the one that takes the most effort, not only because of its cost (which decreases when you go up in reputation). Also because of the difficulty of collecting gold on a server that was practically dead (due to the opening of Shadowlands). Still, I'm proud I got it.
Price: 500k golds, in addition to raising reputation with the army of light, I had to collect every day for a period of three weeks the amount of 20k gold in the band of mount Hyal to be able to afford this beauty.
By the way, it reminds me a bit of the Iron man armor xD

image.png

What happens when you have to collect a certain amount of coins, but it all depends on the equipment you have, and tactics to take down the entire map?

That's right, it's nothing more and nothing less than the Horrific Visions of Stormwind / Ogrimmar, and I had to do them repeatedly. I honestly don't know how many times I did it, it was slow and tortuous, but I was able to get this mount out.

image.png

Maybe it's not the prettiest mount... Well, it's not pretty, but this insect of dubious origin cost me nothing more and nothing less than 100k corrupted memories, which are earned in the same visions I told you about.

image.png

And the third mount, but no less interesting. A mount that basically depends on luck and how persistent you are in killing a rare EVERY DAY.

image.png

“for when you want to turn heads in a big way… And don't mind strapping yourself to a giant wheel that's barely holding itself together.”

With these beauties of mounts acquired and the game 100% downloaded, I was ready to enter the continuation of the story, what happened to Sylvanas Windrunner? Will I discover what lies beyond the veil of life and death?

Shadowlands

I just logged in with my character (I had my bfa Paladin, and my mounts bound to the account). He had a new mission and appeared in Stormwind.

“The time has come Paladin, Highlord Bolvar Fordagon requests your presence at the Summit of Icecrown Citadel. Come meet me in Stormwind and I'll take you to him."

image.png

Here I am informed that Bolvar had a battle against Sylvanas
(xD couldn't wait to see what happens next)

At this point a cinematic appeared where you could clearly see Bolvar weakened, wounded by the battle against Sylvanas, he clearly did not want to take over the power of the Lich King. Just break the Helm of Domination, and with that break the veil making a portal to the jaws and "open this world with the other"

image.png

(this part really moved me)

image.png

(Right at this moment I felt a love/hate towards Sylvanas)

After taking the Crown and destroying it, I could see how she captured the main leaders of the Horde and the Alliance, to somehow weaken the possible threat that she and her allies would have.

Alduin captured

image.png

I was able to see the scar that Sylvanas left in the sky, and reach the top of the ice crown, and honestly I was quite surprised with the characters I saw here, because I did not expect to see so many people gathered.

image.png

The Alliance and the Horde were reunited, perhaps in the past and right now we are enemies, but obviously the situation requires cooperation between both factions, since our enemy knows no limits and will destroy everything that opposes him.

image.png

(Selfie with Bolvar, before traveling to the "beyond")
I didn't take off the Helm, too bad ☹
image.png

Sylvanas breaking the Crown of the Lich King broke the veil between this world and the other, now to face this new threat and rescue our allies we must go beyond the unknown, where no one has arrived alive, and where new threats However, they await us, for this we must open the portal with, THE OWN HELMET OF THE EXANIME KING.

image.png

Once each part of the Lich King's crown is placed, around the circle of this great peak, not before Bolvar warned us "returning to this world will be on your own." I walked through this portal alongside Darion and his Knights of the Ebon Blade, and Tyrande who set out to seek Revenge for Sylvanas burning her home.

image.png

Really at this point I did not expect anything and even so I ended up being surprised, what I had seen of Shadowlands, before playing were only guides, but never the story, but this part was very, very epic.

image.png
image.png

The battle had started, Darion was surrounded and the Champion fell from the sky and defeating an enemy, this was very epic, lol

Starting the adventure in the jaws

image.png

The enemy was formidable yet we were able to beat them (for now). However, the knights of the Ebony sword were scattered, crossing the threshold they all fell divided, and were facing the warriors separately. We also had many casualties, but we were able to break through and face great enemies

image.png

We felt as if someone or an entity was watching every move we made in that completely inhospitable place. More like a desert or hell, creatures came out of the sky with great black wings or soldiers forged of fire and steel approached from afar. We were looking for signs of our allies and we could see signs of frost, ice magic used against our enemies.

image.png

Then fire magic and a great enemy that he could hardly have defeated consumed by fire, could clearly be Jaina Proudmoore fighting through this realm.

image.png

Darion, some death knights and I were able to follow the trail that Jaina left in her fight for the maw, after walking a bit in stealth we were finally able to find them.
Thrall wounded and Jaina fighting to protect their lives.

image.png

image.png

We were able to find Jaina, but Thrall was wounded, and that sense of surveillance was getting worse and worse, the enemies were arriving in groups and coming for us, the situation couldn't be worse.
World of Warcraft is a game that I quite enjoy and although there are good or bad expansions, I really enjoy what the story is and being able to participate in it, I hope you will like my post as much as I liked writing it and sharing it with you, I see you in the next chapter of my adventures through Shadowlands.
