I sat and waited for the loading, watching a tank moving slowly in the distance through the smoke, there were fallen trees, burning barbed wire, and big bold text that said WORLD WAR 2 BATTLE COMBAT
It gave me goosebumps right away, this was not just a normal game, it felt like I was remembering history from the past
The moment I entered, I was greeted with the BATTLE MODES menu , there was a huge dice that said RANDOM MODE, and next to it were QUICK MATCH and TEAM DEATHMATCH, the rest were still locked . I was only level 2 so I could only open QUICK MATCH and TEAM DEATHMATCH, it felt like the game was making me learn step by step, not just giving me all the weapons right away, at the bottom there was REWARDS XP & Stars, and that made me even more excited to level up
Entering the main lobby, my character appeared, his name was agst, level 2, holding a weapon and wearing a dark green army uniform with a helmet, at the bottom there was a QUEST: Kill 35 enemies with assault rifle. My equipment was still basic, but it was enough for the first battle, that big red BATTLE button just kept calling me... BATTLE
The moment I entered the match, I was thrown straight into a European city,stone roads, a Fleuriste shop, old cars, and posters on the walls. I was holding an assault rifle with 30/60 ammo, 105 health, and 50 armor. The mini map on the left showed the enemies, and the score was still 3-2
Every corner felt like there could be an enemy, my heart was beating so fast
Soon after, the word KILL appeared on my screen, i managed to take down Luchador in front of the red-roof shop. With a red crosshair locked on him, he fell to the ground, and the score became 4-5, that was my first kill in the game, my hands were sweaty, but it felt so addictive.
I ran into the stone alley and ran into NeoSoul7, shot, shot, and he went down too, the score was 7-9, and my team started to catch up. This game taught me to use the environment, not just shoot randomly.
With 1 minute left, the score was 29-26.
I hid inside a house with green and gold wallpaper, peeking through the doaar... There was an enemy pilot standing outside, itook a deep breath, aimed, and fired...
He dropped instantly
It felt just like being in a real World War.
And finally, the big word VICTORY appeared on the screen, the final score was 40-31, and the Allies won the match, looking at the city from above after the battle felt so relieving, i finally managed to finish this match and claim the victory.
I checked the scoreboard, agst had 8 kills, 4 deaths, and 251 points, not the best, but enough to make me proud, and I also got +10 stars. Names like D0ubleTapDan and QuickStegasaurus were at the top, but I was already happy to help my team win this game.
World War 2 Battle Combat is a light FPS game that is easy to control, the atmosphere feels just like a real World War, very match feels different, sometimes you become the hero, sometimes you become the bait.
But that is what makes it addictive, if you like war games that are detailed and intense, you should try this one.
