A tormented soul

Saludos amigos, hoy era uno de esos días en los que quieres ser perfeccionista y hacer algo diferente y lleno de detalles, por eso hoy he querido esmerarme un poco mas haciendo este retrato que la verdad me encanto mucho, esta vez quise representar varias cosas en un solo dibujo, un alma atormentada, una referencia a la forma “real” de los ángeles plasmada en unas alas con ojos, un alma que busca ser salvada a pesar de las marcas de oscuridad que se expanden en el pecho. Algo que me encanto fue las manos, sobremodo como logre manejar el color de la sangre y la forma que tienen, la verdad es que fue un trabajo bastante complicado pero lo disfrute muchísimo, espero que les guste.

Greetings friends, today was one of those days in which you want to be a perfectionist and do something different and full of details, that's why today I wanted to do a little more doing this portrait that I really loved, this time I wanted to represent several things in a single drawing, a tormented soul, a reference to the “real” form of angels embodied in wings with eyes, a soul that seeks to be saved despite the dark marks that expand on the chest.
Something that I loved was the hands, especially how I managed to handle the color of the blood and the shape they have, the truth is that it was quite a complicated job but I enjoyed it a lot, I hope you like it.

Realice mi boceto con varias ideas en mente, después de tener listo lo que quería elegí una paleta de tonos piel para comenzar a rellenar el cuerpo, en una nueva capa agregue muchísimo mas tonos para darle mas realismo e ir difuminando poco a poco cada parte del rostro, luego trabaje el pecho, para continuar entonces con las manos, aplicando los colores base.

I made my sketch with several ideas in mind, after having what I wanted ready, I chose a palette of skin tones to start filling in the body, in a new layer I added many more tones to give it more realism and gradually blur each part of the body and face, then work on the chest, to continue then with the hands, applying the base colors.

Después de suavizar toda la piel, incluyendo la mano, era momento de pintar otros detalles, para el pecho quise hacer una figura parecida a la estructura de un ala, quería que fuese de un tono rojo para simular una marca en la piel, pinte algunas gotas mas de sangre en las manos y comencé a aplicar un tono marón de base en el cabello, con un marrón mas oscuro y otro mas claro realice reflejos para darle mas vida y movimiento al cabello, utilice un azul casi gris para pintar la base del ala y un azul oscuro para la ropa.

After softening all the skin, including the hand, it was time to paint other details, for the chest I wanted to make a figure similar to the structure of a wing, I wanted it to be a red tone to simulate a mark on the skin, I painted some more drops of blood on the hands and I began to apply a brown base tone to the hair, with a darker brown and a lighter one, I made highlights to give more life and movement to the hair, I used an almost gray blue to paint the base of the wing and a dark blue for clothing.

Pinte los pliegues de la ropa y luego comencé a darle detalles al ala con algunas sombras y luces, comencé a pintar el ojo del ala, este ojo lo realice con diferentes tonalidades entre ellas, rojo, rosa, naranja, verde, amarillo, todo esto para darle mucho mas realismo, cambie el fondo a un marrón oscuro y comencé a pintar con tonos marrones mas claros, dando pinceladas con el pincel de textura de óleo.

I painted the folds of the clothes and then I began to give details to the wing with some shadows and lights, I began to paint the eye of the wing, I made this eye with different shades, including red, pink, orange, green, yellow, all this to give it much more realism, I changed the background to a dark brown and began to paint with lighter brown tones, giving brushstrokes with the oil texture brush.

Se me ocurrió pintarle un accesorio asi que hice pequeños puntos formando una especie de cadena que rodea la cabeza, comencé a aplicar iluminaciones tanto en el rostro como los demás accesorios, finalmente aplique un leve ajuste de color para mejorar un poco la imagen.

It occurred to me to paint an accessory so I made small dots forming a kind of chain that surrounds the head, I began to apply highlights both on the face and the other accessories, finally I applied a slight color adjustment to improve the image a bit.
