Castor oil plant is a medicinal plant. Castor oil is extracted from its seeds. It is used as laxative. It is also used as a remedy of dry skin. A homeopathic medicine is also made of it which is used as a remedy of many problems like diarrhea, eczema etc.
Overall it is a very useful mn plant but, urbanization and proliferation of human settlement is causing its extinction.
We need to save plants and animal species which are extincting because of us.
