Since having 2 kids, ive gained some weight and have had difficulty loosing it. Obviously not related to a pregnancy, but simply due to time management. Its not like i have no free time, but the cherished little time that i do have, im either cleaning up, making food or finally sitting down on the couch to recharge the batteries. Add that to the that there are always delicious and free donuts , chips, and pretzels at work, this has been a fairly thorny going.

So given these restraints, eating healthy has taken a back seat to prepping something quickly that is tasty. My goal is to try and keep eating good food, not be continuouslt hungry, but still lose some weight; my plan is to focus my calories in protein and the bulk of the food in veggies.

What Ive prepared here is an asian veggie mix with peanuts, ground pepper, garlic salt, sriracha sauce and a dash of teriyaki sauce. I then chopped up third of a baked chicken breast, shook that around with some sriracha sauce, and tossed that on top of the veggies; covered until hot.

Last step, i added one egg, mixed it up and then turned off the heat. I then recovered the wok and let the egg gently cook. I plated it and added more sriracha.

Overall, this took me about 10 minutes to make. One of the problems that i have is that I am still hungry after i finish eating, leading to me making a second meal or eating a large desert. By loading this dish up with of a bunch of spices, it gives me the impression that im full right after eating so im hopefully less tempted to over eat.

Right now, I hover around 243; im muscular but only about 5’11” so while I may be jacked at 190, im fat at 243.

My first milestone goal is just to create a sustainable diet that I can maintain that starts me losing weight. My second goal is 215, then 200, then 185.

Once i start ramping this up and making progress, i hope to then include exercise into the mix as well.

Wish me luck!
