I stand and deliver. It's fun I do the first part, when necessary, but I hate doing it :) I don't like the attention, but when something has to be said, it has to be said! First of all many people don't

This particular grant will force us to expose our utilities, until now independent and inexpensive, to control by the state government, under the guise of protecting us from cyber attack. I thought utility

Thank you, @teknon. This lady was not well and not well off. As I age and think of my own children and grandchild, I can understand where her heart was when she wanted to buy the insurance. Her love for

Wow! You really do know how to tell a story, even if it is a 'real' story. We all feel the loss because you let us know these birds through your description. Jackie was older so maybe it makes sense that

When I was 41 I had emergency surgery. I was quite ill and I remember my thoughts as I was taken to the operating room...my kids. What's going to happen to my kids. First thing I did when I got out of

Wow! That olive oil thing is really upsetting. People are horrible sometimes, aren't they? I just read up on the adulteration issue. Astonishing, the pervasiveness of the fraud. Weary instead of wary.

Your review was convincing :) That's what we all would like to hear when we write a review, isn't it? I'll have to catch the third installment. I have movies for different moods. Sometimes I just need

It's a very 'literary' movie, and apparently based on a well-respected novel by the same name. I usually don't read books that movies have been based on, but this time I think I will.

Back in the 80s I had a part-time job with the publisher of American Express calendar books. I spent a few months as a proofreader and then a month as a copyeditor. It was good training. That stuff is

It's a great idea. Positive initiative for Hive and movie reviewers.

I love this blog, because you make an observation about something I noticed a long time ago. Men need to socialize around something, side by side. My husband does it at his weekly card game. Even when

A map!! I do love maps. It's actually getting hard to find maps for some places. As for the roof...$15,000 doesn't sound that high to me. When we first moved in our current house I checked out prices on

I know it is slanted Everything is slanted. We have to do our own research on candidates. Of course the airwaves were saturated. Look at the money she had. Get ready for Rogers. I'll bet even Democrats

Too late to upvote this (left a tip instead), but I wanted to check in and tell you I watched both 1 and 2 since you mentioned them. Your review does them justice. I really, really liked both movies. Kind

Love the bread!! I can taste is, and better yet, smell it. I traveled in Spain (1967) and stayed in a pension for a couple of months, in Cadiz. Our inexpensive pension was above a bakery. Every morning

He is definitely a Muslim. He affirms that he loves and respects the Jewish people. He asserts that he is not a socialist, and that he is a capitalist. So, yes a Muslim. No to antisemite and socialist.

whenever I've seen El-Sayed mentioned DSA was always mentioned as well Yes! Exactly my point. You think that's accidental? This is almost a coordinated campaign (I know I sound paranoid) to discredit him

Thank you for the feedback. That's why I wrote this. I'm looking for clarity. I did a lot of research and one thing is clear. El-Sayed states emphatically that he is not a socialist. So he certainly is
