It's photography season y'all. The autumn colours are appearing all around us in the northern hemisphere. Browns, oranges, reds and faded greens everywhere. It's the favourite time of the year for me, and many others, to take photos in nature.
I was going through my photos today and I noticed it was exactly a year ago since I had this photo session with Nadia. I also wrote about it here on Steem. I can't believe how quickly time flies.
It also reminded me that I have to get on my skates and start contacting my beautiful friends for photo sessions before it gets too cold and miserable here.
It always makes me smile when I think of Nadia, and how much progress she's made in just one year. As I am writing this, she's finally been able to leave her corporate job in full pursuit of what she really wants to do with her life. It's so exciting that people are still able to do that in 2019.
She upped her game massively on Social Media, including the types of photos of herself she was posting along with her message, and her followership exploded. As such, she's been able to funnel enough traffic to her business that she's now going full time with it!
The best part of the arrangement for me was the win-win nature of it. I created all the photographs for free - hers to use as she pleases, while she also released them for me to use as I please. She used them on her social media platforms and website, while I made money out of them on Steem.
I look forward to a future where this sort of arrangement is made more possible by Steem. Even better, a world where Nadia can hold enough Steem that she can pay for such a service either directly with Steem, or via one of the utility tokens / SMTs. I'm optimistic that such days are around the corner.
