Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

I hope everyone has had a great week, and that the weekend has been kind to you so far!

Yes friends, we have made it to yet another weekend, and that means we have made it to Caturday, my favorite day of the week!

It has been a somewhat busy week around here, with the Hoomans working on "creative things" because next weekend they have an event they need to be at where they sell their artwork.

As I'm sure most people know by now I am very fond of helping "inspect" everything to make sure it meets the required quality standards... and everybody knows that pretty much anything Hooman made is better off when inspected by a cat!

Anyway, they are planning to be gone all of next Sunday for their event. The Son-Hooman is even coming over from Seattle to help out with some of the heavy lifting. Whatever that means...

Meanwhile, fall is rolling right along even though it is only just about to officially become fall. We can feel it because the mornings are kind of cool and the days are definitely getting shorter.

Sadly, this also means that there are sunny spots are getting shorter, and we won't see as much sun in the house until the leaves finally fall off the trees in November. But that's OK, because we have plenty of nice warm baskets and blankets to take naps on.

Smudge is pretty much a cloud of fluff!

The Mom-Hooman has also been busy picking vegetables and berries in the garden and processing them for winter. She doesn't really like it when I jump up on the kitchen counter to help, but I just want to make sure that everything is being done properly!

Meanwhile, we're watching how our fuzzy housemate Smudge's thick winter coat is starting to grow out. If the thickness of her coat is anything to go by I think we're going to have a cold winter!

Meanwhile, it's really nice to see that the Cryptosphere and our own Hive token are at least doing slightly better. I hope it lasts, but not holding my breath.

What's interesting, though is how a small uptick can definitely improve sentiment and attitude.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
