I finally upgraded my portable bluetooth speaker. I used this one for ages, and it's cute, but it's not quite as powerful as I need it to be. It's great at night when you need some bed-side or desk-top sound, but, at only 10W, is just not loud enough in a crowd.

The one I actually wanted is still quite expensive and over-budget for me. As such, I made a compromise with this one. I already love Anker's products, including their Soundcore range of bluetooth devices. I use the P20i earbuds every day and it's been performing for years with minimal loss of battery life. That's not surprising since Anker is know for making some amazing power banks which I've also used. Their products also seem to be quite affordable - so quality and a good price.

This video is an unboxing of what's inside the Anker Soundcore Boom 3i box. I am still using it to get a good feel of the device. After that, I'll create a proper review video. I will say, however, that it's already a winner since I used it in a crowd and it was perfectly audible.
