It's November 2021, and the year is almost over, but I didn't make it to the Canary Islands or The Gambia this year either. I had planned to go last year to scope out the lands for a possibility of a relocation. I am now in desperate need of more annual levels of sunshine for healthy levels of Vitamin D.

Ok, maybe not a total relocation, but at least on a 50-50 basis where I spend the cold winter months over there, wherever there is, and the more pleasant months here. Kind of like a budget billionaire lifestyle. Someone I worked for many years ago, who was then the richest man in London, lived like that. He oscillated between London and Monaco where his family was permanently based.

It's not actually that hard to do. If you can afford to live in London, you can do it. There are places not so far away where an entire year's accommodation cost what we pay here in just one month! Those places also come with constant sunshine albeit with some mosquitos.

I'm starting to hear murmurs and hints about lockdowns. Even hearing that word now gives me the creeps. There are parts of the world that are now starting to go into the kind of lockdowns we saw last year. I don't think I could go through one of those again to be honest. Especially now that most of the eligible population is vaccinated, and there are now "pills" for the disease. I think we are now in the tail end of this thing now. Time to wrap things up, fingers crossed.
