Hello dear Steemians! Today I visited "Cultural Center Juan Rulfo"
This building was constructed in 1912 but in 1975 it started to function as the first House og Culture in Mexico City.
There is an exhibition of paintings of various authors/DQmSDhg3LkxusEU3SfbVECs9NRXJNwD3zMBYcJC36zp35KV/IMG_20180722_131230.jpg)
Our tour guide was outstanding al telling us the history of the place so it was a wonderful experience
Juan Rulfo was the author of "Pedro Páramo" y "El llano en llamas" ("The Plain in Flames"). Our guide told us some of the short stories and it was superb.
The mural of the entrance was painted by Francisco Eppens, it is called "Nuestras Raíces Culturales" (Our Cultural Roots)
If you have the opportunity visit the building and you cannot miss reading this two books of one of our best writers.
These photos were taken with my cellphone.
Thanks a lot for watching
