Last few days I spent at my holiday home and I feel so refreshed. Today I returned back to the city and it feels like I returned back to the furnace. This home is in Lonavala town, which is a hill station, where the climate is always better than the city. Mumbai is right now very hot and I do not feel like stepping out of the home. It's humid so all the more it feels exhausting.
3 days I spent in Lonavala home and it is all about clean air, no pollution, no sounds of vehicle, just the birds chirping all day along, and so much peace. Early mornings and sunset time I would spend on the terrace with my cup of tea. On the look of it, feels like it's waste of time doing nothing and just staring at these hills but when I am doing this, something is happening within me. I sleep better, my thoughts are composed, my focus gets better, and it feels like a time of spiritual upliftment. It makes me slow down, allows me to think better and most importantly I learn to enjoy with my own company. In these moments, it all feels enough and there is no need for anything more.
Where taking pictures is concerned, it never feels enough. It is the same scene every day and yet it feels like it is telling me a different story. Right now, is the rice harvest season, and in this locality, there are lot of rice fields, so in-between you will see the green patch of rice fields.
While I was there, on one of the days, there was a wedding in this home opposite my villa, and the night before the wedding they had a music night, where the music went on till 1:30, it was so loud that no matter what I could not get sleep. Anyways it's ok, because it's once in a while and the excitement of the wedding is there so I am sure they could not keep a track of the time.
The moments that I truly love
