YOUTHFUL AGE COMES WITH IT ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES.

I have always wished to have the opportunity of being young again, but it has been spent and can't be retrieved again.

Happy weekend and welcome to my blog this beautiful day. I am wishing all my friends a blessed weekend ahead.

Whenever I see the young ones, I always remember when I was still young. I use to believe that I will always look fresh and strong. But now I know better. One can't be young twice. If the opportunity is not used very well, it will be lost and can't be found or retrieved again.

We went for a program for the youths and I was asked to give a talk on the opportunities that youths have that they can't always have. And while I was preparing for the program, I felt like crying, because I remember so many opportunities that I have lost back then as a young girl, so many things I would have done that I did not do and can't not do now even though I am still alive. I can only use my life as a lesson for others.

So, when I have opportunities like this one, I love to talk to the younger ones not to make the same mistakes that I made when I was in their stage. I do advice them to look for black goat when it is still day, because when it is dark, one will not know where to start searching for the black goat. This is a proverb used by the elders of my place to warn us when we were still young to do the right thing at the right time, to avoid hard I know.

As I see these young ones, I see alot of chances, I see alot of strength in them, I see a people that can conquer what conquered their parents if properly guided.

If you are still young and you have the opportunity to read this post of mine, please invest in your future and don't make the mistakes that consumed your parents that they never arrived at their destinations despite how hard they try to.
