First of all, these may not be everyone's cup of tea and that's fine, no worries. Scroll on my friend 馃檪
However some people, including myself find them really funny, especially when done tastefully and most times the person getting pranked gets as much of a laugh out of it as anyone else listening. For those folks, let me share a few cracking Prank calls that I can remember from over the years. Grab a cuppa, sit back and enjoy the belly laughs!
Let's kick things off with Blindboy from the Rubberbandits. Blindboy has a hugely successful Podcast now, which I would highly recommend, you can find it here if you want to tune in and if you do, my advise is to go back to the start so that you understand the "lore of the Podcast" as Blindboy would say himself.

Long before his chart topping songs and Podcast though, he started out on Youtube doing Prank calls, so I am going to start you off with this one about a rare Polynesian wasp! Enjoy...
Prank Calls have been happening for years on end, but some of the first ones I ever remember are from a Cork radio station called 96FM. I heard these before the days of the Internet. A good friend lived in Cork and he arrived up to Galway to my with a tape of windups from 96FM and I remember absolutely falling around the place laughing at them.
I found a few of these on Youtube. They are not all there unfortunately, but this one about the Dog License was there, so I'm delighted to be able to share it with you all now, so here goes.
This is the one that gave me the idea about making a post on prank calls. Even though it was made a few years ago, I was sent it a few days ago by a friend on Whatsapp and I thought it was pure funny. It's really well done, especially the last call this poor lad receives. Absolute gold.
The poor man just wants to sell his Antique Horn and it's pretty unlucky that it happens to rhymn with something else, can you guess what? Click below to find out 馃槅
Another one from Blindboy of the Rubberbandits to finish out the Prank calls for today, I don't want to bombard you with too many, I think four is enough. The poor lady starts to lose her patience towards the end.
