Hello to all hive users 🤗❤️🙏
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life🙂
You may have heard people say that they are the masters of their own will; they say this because they can do exactly what they desire—deciding when to act and how to carry out their tasks on their own terms. Consider, for instance, those in employment: their bosses often control everything—from when they start and finish work to when they take time off. In contrast, those who possess true freedom—holding the reins of their own lives—can genuinely be described as masters of their own will. Yet, are they truly in complete control? While they may manage many aspects of their lives as they see fit, there remain certain matters beyond their control. When it comes to society, from the moment we are born, there are numerous things we must do according to societal norms—expectations that we are often compelled to accept. No matter how much an individual insists they are the master of their own will, there are instances where their personal choice does not prevail, and they find themselves bound by societal constraints.
There are many established societal norms that people generally follow; while there are always exceptions—individuals who act contrary to these conventions—they rarely manage to completely break away, as they cannot fully detach themselves from the society they are part of. Some may believe they can completely separate themselves from society and defy its rules, but this is not feasible; even if they act against societal norms, the values instilled in them by their parents during their upbringing remain with them and continue to influence their lives.

Every social rule is rooted in some underlying societal concept, but this does not imply that society is exerting pressure on you. Many practices that persisted for centuries have evolved significantly, and people have embraced these changes; this demonstrates that societal norms can indeed shift. Rather than viewing this evolution as a form of pressure, we can refine these rules to better accommodate individual needs and preferences. I say this because societal rules do not act as a source of pressure; instead, they provide a framework within which we have the freedom to operate. While these rules may adapt over time, they are not imposed upon us coercively. In fact, many societal rules are specifically designed for the individual's benefit, and none of them infringe upon personal freedom.
Some people believe that societal rules curtail individual freedom, but this is not the case at all. In reality, these rules do not infringe upon personal liberty; rather, they are designed to foster social cohesion. An individual is free to pursue any job or activity they choose; society imposes no restrictions in this regard.I acknowledge that we often have to make decisions with society in mind; however, that is not always the case. From a practical perspective, this can be seen as a way of respecting society, given our interconnectedness. After all, the exchange of ideas is essential—just imagine what life would be like without it. If you live among people, you inevitably have to adopt some of their ways, as that is simply how society functions.
