Food markets are my favorite spots to explore when I travel and visit new places. It is the best way to feel the authentic atmosphere of the locals and usually are not that much crowded with foreign visitors as the main tourist sights usually are. In this article I want to take you to Borough market in London,UK.
Borough market is one of the best food markets in Europe. Located on the South Bank near London Bridge, it lures all food lovers with its lavish variety of foods from vegetables through cheese, to meats and lots of seafood. All you need is your empty stomach with you!

Here's a tip : At such markets everything is sells fast , so usually by noon there is not much left, if you are late.
So make sure to check the opening time (in our case 10 a.m. ). As we woke up early and went out and about, we did not have our breakfast at the hotel, and oh my, thank god we didn't!

Well, it was time for us to go. But the 4 hours we spent at Borough market that day, were really really worth it. It's something different from the usual places you visit when travelling, but it really adds to the experience and trust me, you'll like it!
