Bangkok, Thailand is loaded with amazing street food. Taking a walk down the street you will be greeted with many different aromas from people cooking alongside the road. During the #beersaturday beer crawl at @steemfest 4, @mynewlife, @vikonomics and I decided to wander off to a nearby market to find some food. @mynewlife led us too a little stand that was serving up Roasted Pork Shoulder dishes for 50 baht (roughly $1.65).

The meat looked good and after a few IPA's I was really feeling hungry. I ordered a dish of Roasted Pork Shoulder from the market stand. The women behind the counter served it up as you can see in the photo above. They took a piece of meat off the grill and hacked at it with a knife the size of a machete.

They served the meat in a little paper dish with some spicy sauce on the side for dipping. As you can see in the photo below, the meat was crispy and flavorful on the outside, with tender meat in the middle. The dipping sauce was a bit spicy, but it was definitely a great way to enhance the experience. Overall, this roasted pork shoulder was a nice little snack to keep me going for a night of drinking down on Khaosan Road.
