Cooperation with competitors

Joséphine was part of a group of leaders of small and medium independent video game studios using the Unreal game engine: UnrIGS. Of course, the other studios were competitors of MarJos Entertainment, but they also cooperated, as they had similar problems. For example, they discussed new features they wanted to make to the Unreal game engine. When they had a consensus on some improvement, they presented their request to Epic Games. Most of the time, one of the studios had modified the source code of the game engine (available on GitHub) to test the new feature. Of course, Epic Games was free to decide if they wanted to include the new feature to the base code of Unreal.

In December 2024, Joséphine started to explain what MarJos was trying to do. As the group UnrIGS was meeting only once a week for an hour on Zoom, and there were other topics to discuss, the live discussion took several weeks. Joséphine also sent several messages to the UnrIGS mailing list. Some of these messages included videos of the 4 episodes of MarJos first limited series: "The Conversation". Also included in these messages were the tools that MarJos used such as the Re-AI-listic and Verse-AI apps. Some of the studios were interested, but they were wondering how they could make money creating similar video series.

In February, Joséphine made a demo of a video with multiple speaking and captioning languages, using MarJos stand-alone video player. And she told UnrIGS that it will probably be incorporated in 3Speak on the HIVE blockchain. Seeing that they could monetize videos that they would produce using InLeo Creator Subscriptions, some studios became really interested. In particular, Andrzej Tusk, the owner of the Polish studio PolGryWid, asked Joséphine how they could cooperate. She had some ideas about such a cooperation.
